Anyway... to get back on topic - it is possible to claim incidental expenses in some cases, I've done it meself, but I can't see the OP collecting much, if anything. Asking nicely "might" produce some form of goodwill gesture - but for a bet the company will not describe it as compensation.

I wasn't so much asking for my washing costs back but why should i be out of pocket at all if it's their product that is faulty(they tested them, they say there is a fault). Just to buy them it cost me £123.50 but they refunded £120.
Life costs money but i'm not going to pay for someone elses mistakes.

it seems bizarre to me that folk on a money saving website say i should suck it up.. well, im not prepared to.
M&S say they will give me another £10 as a goodwill gesture, im more than happy with that.

They should refund you the delivery charge. It's naughty that they haven't.

Another £10? That's more than they are obliged to do, so that's great.

But how are you getting on with the vouchers/cash. You are entitled to your money back, NOT a credit note.
