Great thread. I think that this has just been a low weekend for everyone. Something in the weather, or the drawing in of the evenings. Hugs to all those who need them, and for those on the first DFW christmas, remember, next years WILL be better because of the action you are taking now.

    best wishes

I'm with you there Len - it's very easy to get addicted to MSE and lose sight of the 'home balance'. My wife works as a nurse and, therefore, some pretty anti-social hours, which gives me more time to spend here.
I do think that the 'casual discussion', as you put it, is important for two reasons:
    1. It gets us away from our own situations for a while, otherwise we would be so tied up with our own problems that we would not appreciate that we're not on our own.
    2. It shows us that, in spite of debt, Life does go on.
Keep reading and let us know, even occasionally, that you're still around.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS
  • Just wanted to add my hugs and good wishes to everyone who needs them on this great forum.

Smilies don't work on my pc so not only are these virtual hugs they are without graphics as well.

But they are sincerely meant. Like so many others I have found this site to be a great source of inspiration and encouragement in facing up to and dealing with my debts. I would love to postpone Christmas though!
Proud to be dealing with my debts
