Catalogue companies have now accepted our offers, so altogether 79% have accepted our payments. Starting to feel as though things are coming together now. If we can get over this weeks shortfall in money then we will be able to see light at the end of the tunnel.

I lost another 1lb at Slimming World last night, so a total of 10.51lb altogether, but feeling like pacman today and can't stop eating. I know i have gone well over my 15 syns, I think I had better leave it for today and start again tomorrow. It will be an early start for us tomorrow as we are having a car boot sale, time to get everything together. My DH managed to sell one of his items on Ebay last night and it was cash on collection today, so we at least have a bit of money in the pot for a few days. Heres hoping we can make a bit more tomorrow as I really don't wan't to have to borrow anything.

Have a great weekend whatever you are up to.

We had a good day at the car boot sale yesterday, made about £60 and the weather was lovely. Not sure if it is enough to keep the few activities that the kids have, school lunches and get the food shopping done for the week, but I will try to spend as little as i can on shopping today.

It's DS1's birthday today, so we took him shopping at a local factory outlet, he has bought loads for £85 and he had £145 altogether for his birthday. We are then all out for a meal tonight. So far we have kept on course with the budget and most of the creditors have accepted our payment requests.

I have been taking advantage of Tesco's DTD offer at the moment and have been stocking up on a few items that we always use. I have cleared a shelf in the cupboard for any spare items I have bought. I have only been doing this for the last 3 weeks and have had vouchers back for about £40. I am going to try to budget even more with our groceries next month.

The weight loss is also going well, in total I have lost 13lbs and my target was to lose anything from 1stone to 1stone 3.5lbs. I am at the stage where I wonder if I should stop now as I think this week I will definitely have lost 1stone. I will know for definite when I try on a size 10 pair of trousers and they fit.

I am off work for 10 days now and even though we are going to have a few days out and enjoy the weather, I also want to get a few things done that I never seem to find time to do. These are:

    1. Sort out the pile of paperwork.
    2. Clean the oven
    3. Clean the windows.
    4. Sort out the downstairs WC/storage room.
    5. Shred/Burn unwanted paperwork.
    6. Clean the car.
    7. Make a start on the ironing.

Thats enough, unless I think of anything else. Any days out will have to be done on the cheap as things are still tight moneywise.

Couldn't sleep in this morning, so was up as 7, gave me a good excuse to sort out the paperwork that had to be filed away. Took me 3 hours, but is now all clear. Lots of paperwork to be destroyed as well, so I will have a burning session this evening.

Just thought of another thing to add to the list:

    8. Sort out my handbag.

Just having a coffee and then time to get myself ready for the day ahead.

Welcome Pennywise, thanks for stopping by and your welcome to bob by any time.

Went to Mr T's earlier and picked up a few things, used my £15 DTD voucher and hopefully should get another back for about £5, plus I have a £10 one to use, but will leave that until May as I think I may have logged about 10 receipts now. We are off out to the beach tomorrow with friends, not an expensive day, will get chips while we are there.

Off to clear my handbag and burn some paperwork later in the chimnea.

Handbag sorted out while doctor who was on last night. Then sat in front of the chinmea last night and burnt all the paperwork. Some went back as far as 1998

All ready for the beach now, will catch up with my friend and her kids, so can't see me doing anything from the list today.
