My first weigh-in last night, and it was not good. I STS
. My consultant's got my food diary and she's going to talk to someone about me today . She can't see where I've gone wrong either. So I'm going to try to be really strict with myself this week (not sure about tomorrow though as we're off to a football match). I am going to try not to eat quite so much as I seem to be eating a lot more than usual, and will religiously measure my HE's. So EE again today.
B: Banana
S: Mullerlight, kiwi fruit
L: Ham, salad & pickle (1) sandwich on wholemeal (HEB),SW chips, satsuma
S: Strawberries & raspberriesHM Chicken curry (will add syns for cream), boiled rice, melon
Also going to gym tonight, and will step up my excercise next week, by cycling to work each day.LBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

Thanks Hun, Ive been suffering with them since the original Brain surgery, they think its something to do with the trigeminal nerve (all to do with my spasms basically)
I was taking soooooo many painkillers on a daily basis tho that I was actually giving myself rebound headaches inbetween which wasnt much fun (I never even knew this could happen...especially as my doc prescribed them)Im free of the daily headaches now but the 2/3 regular monthly migraines just dont want to budge despite a cocktail of meds & strict food diaries
That doesn't sound fun:( My mum suffers badly with migraines, she has had one nearly every night for about 7 years:eek: She is on loads of medication for them and like you say is now suffering from rebound headaches. Its a vicious cycle:(The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning all!
Its a lovely day here so I have no excuses to not get out and do something calorie burning.
Just been to the doctors for a check up and repeat contraceptive pill prescription - all is well thankfully.
So today my aim is to walk the dog for 60 mins minimum (have to go to chemist so thats a good start) and do a fitness video for at least half an hour.
I feel a bit bloated and flabby today, perhaps the weekend excesses are catching up? I think I've over eaten portion-wise this week too - nothing really naughty but just too much of everything, have actually been unconfortably full a few times so I need to get control back!
So food today will be...
Breakfast - banana
Lunch - beans on 1 piece of toast (B choice), kiwi, grapes
Dinner - free egg fried rice with lots of veg
Snack - frozen summer fruits and fromage frais, 2 slices cheese (A choice)
So that's...
1 A choice
1 B choice
No syns yet - I'm sure this will change! Maybe some skips (4 syns) but will try really hard to cut back today and get back on track.
Hope everyone had a good skinny day. xx0 -
Mrs M - can you enlighten me on what all this shredding buisness is about?
Does it work and is there anything on the web where you can take a look at it?
Thank you!0 -
lovely day here.
Rachel, that's a downer about STS, I'm sure your consultant will come up with some ideas.
I've had a busy day so far, did the shopping and then picked up my daughter from school and a quick clothes shop (they have long lunch breaks). Todays food (EE) is:
B: apple (was too rushed for anything else!)
L: sushi, miso soup and edame beans (syns roughly 3)Bacon wrapped chicken breasts, vegetables, potato wedges.
HEA is milk, not sure what for HEB yet, have some nice bread but can't see opportunity to eat it.
I'll have some fruitr for snack this afternoon to make up for having little superfree for lunch.Trying to keep in budget.

Welshwoofer - I think what they mena is Gillian's 30 day shred dvd (the woman from Biggest Loser USA). session is 20ish mins long and you have to do it every day - there are 3 parts to dvd do each one for 10 days before moving up to next part.
It is tough!!! but works! I started doing it in Jan and lost 8lb in 2 weeks (i did it most but not every day) without changing my diet at all! But then got injures (not the DVD!) and had to stop.
I would recommend it!Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100 -

Hello again! SLight change of plan for me! I'm now having a RED day:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Snack - melon, pineapple, grapes
Lunch - salad, dressing (1), olives (1), feta cheese (HEA2), chicken
Tea - HM donner kebab, pitta (HEB2), few sw chips (6?), salad, sauces (2 or 3)
I'll probably have some more fruit and maybe a yogurt later too. ABout 11 syns in total which is a lot for me!!!0 -
I usually look stupid so its a natural thing for me!
Thank you for the Shred answers - I have just ordered it from Amazon for £5.45 inc delivery so will see how I get on with it.
I have just done 30 mins of the most intense Nell McAndrew DVD called Ultimate Challenge and its flipping hard! Admittedly I haven't done it for months but I made myself do half an hour even though I wanted to stop after 10 mins - quite proud of myself.
Have walked the dog for 20 mins too and we'll be off again in about an hour so - will sleep tonight!;)0
