Can i post my issue in here because it's my problem with vodafone Italy, not UK?

Why did you take out a contract if you could not read it?

Vodafone Italy and Vodafone UK are seperate legal companies although they have the same corporate parent. What is in place at one may not be in place at another.

UK and Italian Law may differ significantly under the rights of consumers and returns, especially as vodafone offer the 7 day return as a over and above UK law.

I'm sure we can all offer advice, but you need to talk to someone who can read and translate your contract, and preferable knows Italian consumer law.

    Good luck...

Do they not have PAYG in Italy?
    Yep

But I suspect it's a 12 month contract the OP signed up for..
  • Thanks for your advices!
Poor me! I though that it'll be cheaper if i buy a sim card in Italy than choosing for roaming my UK sim card :(
That time i did not know where to go in venice - you know! it's like a maze! :(
So the staff said that if i want to use 3G in my iphone, i must sign a monthly contract >_< don't know why and moreover, they tried to offer me a tariff with 50e per month :(
Lucky me, i only signed a contract with 25e per month!
Oh my god! i only want to know the status of my contract but i tried tried and hopeless :<
They do have a E vervion of their website but with little information :( so ... :((
Yes! they should not know English and using it in Italy but ... they're customer service !! At least they should hear their customer and take the phone to someone can speak English instead to put the phone off :(
Hope that everything'll be fine :((

Sorry I'm still not seeing why you did this.

You were there 2 days and needed a 3G conneciton? Why not take a lonley planet or rough guide book like everyone else does?

Vodagone do a 25MB data pack in the EU at £2 a day, did you not ask what your provider could do and costs? Unless you were planning to use a monster amount of data a local SIM card is never going to be worth while for 2 days usage.

Sorry again why would they. Many people speak English but calling an Italian customer service line probably gets you to a outsourced call centre, You won't be able to talk to them as they'll have a script to follow and your deviating from it.

Your best bet would be to get a italian speacking friend to read the contract and call the callcentre for you
