Graham, you're behind the times. :) BMW's don't come with indicators anymore, and seems a few Audi's don't now too.....

i love the lights that come on BMW and Audi now, "extra bright to dazzle everyone else coming the other way..." and i believe Audi advertise theirs by claiming that once close enough to the bumper in front, you can burn the retina's of the driver in front via their rear view mirror...

My next door neighbour bought themselves a brand new Audi S4 convertible recently... shame the rest of the house looks like a complete dump...

Guys, sorry to burst your bubble - but a$$holes drive all sorts of cars.

You need to ask yourself what makes you focus in on BMW drivers or Audi drivers - is it because you have been told to by some middle aged bloke on a TV show?

It is blatant arrogance, they cannot lower themselves to help others.

    Or your inferiority complex?

    Hows the Skoda going?

I don't own a Skoda, nor do I watch Clarkson.

Hows the Passat going?..oh sorry I forgot, you couldn't afford to keep it.

pgilc1, it's light hearted joking based on sweeping generalisations- I don't know of any forum where it hasn't existed in some form!

If you were offended, it wasn't meant to. I've heard every joke going about female drivers/mechanics etc, so I'm reasonably thickskinned by now! :)

Didnt need to keep it - wasnt doing the miles anymore. Happier to invest the cash in my growing car business.

Driving a Subaru 2.5 Legacy this week, though i've a Golf GTI coming at the weekend, so i might drive that for a week or two. Mind you, the weathers getting better, so i might stick a bit of tax on one of the two Boxsters I have for sale.

However if circumstance dictated it, i'd have no problems driving another mile muncher like the Passat.
