RESULT!
Rang HMRC Charities, spoke to a lovely lady that knew what she was talking about.
She went away to check things and came back to me within the hour!
Everything has been amended and I can now re-submit our gift aid claim and it should be paid in a few days! (Which would be wonderful)!
Very refreshing to get someone who knew what they were talking about AND got things sorted in a timely fashion!

Had a lovely dinner of Posh Sausages & Mash last night.
Continuing with the meal plan - we are having Turkey Stroganoff tonight - always a favourite and so quick and easy.
No real money news.

Been a spendy week. Cat had to go to the vets as she had hurt her side. Thought it was a bite at first, but wasn't - not sure how she did it, but she needed stitches and antibiotics, so £155 later she's ok!
Couldn't claim on the pet insurance as the excess (as she's older) is nearly what I paid! Oh well - really glad I put money by for these things.
Then had the car serviced and had some trim replaced that fell off a couple of months ago - another £267.
My account is looking a little depleted - but fingers crossed, no more big bills before Christmas.
Also went to a food festival last weekend - had a lovely time and spent about £40 on goodies (DH paid for entrance, food and drink).
Booked a luxury weekend away (from out joint account) for first week in October - staying in a cabin in the woods and going to do an archery session - really excited - long weekend away (3 nights), quality time with DH, quiet, peaceful and luxury surroundings and a bit of excitement with the archery (which I've always wanted to do) - can't wait.
Pay week next week, but I think it will be the normal deposit into the house fund :-( . But have been concentrating on getting things done for us.
Feeling a little more upbeat (especially now the cat is ok) and so glad that we have something to look forward to with our weekend away.
Meal plan is going ok - fish of some description on the menu tonight.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

AWOL again...been really busy with fundraising stuff and work has been manic.
Really looking forward to our weekend away in the woods...4 more sleeps.
£333 added to the house fund.
MIL has cancelled her direct debit - just £100 to go from DH to joint account now and then we can have a shift round with the money.
Busy, busy...hope to catch up soon.
Hope everyone is well.
