and I can see the new thread button. That's probably how I started this thread....


but in The Warnings & Rip-Offs Board (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=48) I am informed that :-

and I certainly cannot do any of those forbidden things. There is no New Thread start button and, if I open a topic there, I cannot add new comments....

Anyone else see the same? I have tried emailing the mods/admins but got no reply. Have I been bad?

I didn't even know there was a 'Warnings & Rip-Offs' board! I can't even see it in the list of boards, where on earth did you find it?

But yes, I see the same, and no reply button.
Is it a board where things just get moved to from PVW?

I am with Peachy, I didn't even know there was one. I don't see it on the board list either.

When I went through the link I get the same :

There used to be a warnings and rip offs board, but ages ago it was changed - Martin decided he wanted to focus on Consumer Rights so that got a forum. The old forum was hidden but it's still there for archive reasons. What has happened is that a mod/board guide has moved a thread into the wrong place so you can see the forum even though you're not supposed to. So you can't post there because it doesn't exist for new thread reasons.

It is the old board, which was split into Consumer Rights and this one ... Wowzers, I thought only BG's and Admin could see it!
