    Hiya ladies,

\happy birthday/congratulations/commisserations/and thoughts iwth you all - going through c.60 pages now so after opening 25 tabs to comment on and still hadn't finished catching up, sorry for the impersonal replies!

I have been trying to desperately catch up with this thread but as I'm no longer on a computer during the day it's a bit intimidating knowing that there are reams and reams of posts to catch up on so I've kind of been avoiding it!!!

Thanks for all the thoughts :A I have a new job, start tomorrow at Aldi of all places, for those that have mentioned that they are looking for jobs, apparently they are crying out for people, and pay a hell of a lot more than i was getting temping! It's a bit of a change but, a job is a job at the end of the day so I'm a bit excited in a way to give it a whirl.. :)

I think it was charlie (?) (sorry, mind is swamped :o ) that has graduated and can't get employed - I'm in a similar situation. I went to uni on day release and my company made me specialise in my first month - needless to say I have 5 years experience in a field that there are currently no jobs in or I get the replies that I'm too qualified for a graduate scheme even though I only graduated in December/I'm under qualified to work as a senior QS because I only graduated this year/And I'm over qualified to start as a project surveyor - if I knew this would happen I would have completely rethought the whole university route!!!

Going back to try and catch up tonight....xxx

UU for me, finally used up the last of the 99p hair colourants from SD that i got about 4 years ago. Only bought 2 at the time and used the other one about 6 months ago.
Not bad really, colour was rich chestnut. I like the fact that it doesn't stink like other ones, and the conditioner doesn't smell like chemicals either. Guess it means i'll need another box in another couple of months time.
No other UU but also no ins, only left the house to go to the allotment so no chance of buying toiletries :)

On the question of Body Butters and Body Lotions, where do Body Souffle's fit in? lol

Roshy, my daughter works for Aldi. Good luck! Great to see you back.
Very hard work that is very well paid for the sector. You will find the time just flies in there.
I hope you are able to stick it, as it will be a good way of saving up for Oz.

    - me and OH went to St Fagans open air museum, was really good. Coming home was interesting mind almost ended up in a police chase and road block!

I love St Fagans, the Antiques Roadshow was from there this evening. They said it correctly too - fag as in fag ash, not Fagan to rhyme with pagan. I was brought up in Fairwater. Right opposite The Dell. (An open park, not a pub...)

Just think - in 100 years someone looking back into their family history might be reading with fascination about you and your life in the same way that we look at the 1901 census now!

............or they might just stumble across this cached thread, which would give them more mind-boggling insight into the mind of the turn-of-the-21st-century woman than they could probably deal with :rotfl:

A Dove colour shampoo has spluttered it's last. Never mind, there is a selection of 3 shampoos and 4 conditioners in the shower atm.....none of which are mine........... but which I will happily steal for the time being, to keep March's toiletries expenditure to £1.80 :T

Welcome back roshydoshy, great news about the job.

Fantastic news Lynseydee about you and DH, brought a tear to my eye, not many people make the effort to work things out, all credit to you both.

Juliebunny - i get really narked about having to give my DOB for EVERYTHING, why do they need it. I now give a comination of my month and day and DH's year.

Had a lovely pamper evening last night, Calm one Calm all bubble bath, coconut body butter, face srub and BS seaweed mask. Was horrified to count up my facial moisturisers at 46 yesterday, most are 50ml, how long are they going to take to use? Thought about putting some on ebay but not going to get anywhere near back what I paid, obviously this is the whole point for the buyer.

I've UU my Wilkos styling mousse. I WBA because it does the job well and doesn't leave my hair stiff or frizzy ( unless i use shampoo samples that make me look like Hagrid ) and it's cheap. I would be happy about using it but i don't have any more in my stash and i forgot to get some when i went shopping. I'll have to get some from the Co op when i post my parcels later.
