Me too!!!!!;) cos I'm thinking if she's bought that many of their nail varniishes then they must be good!!!!
They are excellent - they apply really nicely, come in loads and loads of different colours, have great names (I am a sucker for a good product name!) and are very affordable at £5 a bottle. I haven't tried any of the other products in the make up range as I'm not really a big make up person - I like to have a range of different looks but equally I'm not one of these people who coos over eyeshadows and lip glosses. been wondering how you are lyndsey but didn't want to impose or appear nosey, how are you coping?
Hi Celebrate, don't worry about being nosy, I think I've divulged enough on here to not worry about whether someone's being nosy :rotfl:
Actually I am fine. Hubby and I are talking and have spent the last couple of weekends out and about doing things together. There's no pressure on either of us we're just enjoying spending time together and seeing how we get on.
I know I probably shouldn't be being so nice to him after what happened but I was finding it difficult to accept that my marriage was over and feel that both of us had let things slide and weren't actually working at our marriage anymore. We've both decided we're going to take things slow and just see what happens.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

I use BB at night 'cos it's richer and BL in the morningnow planning to use maple taffy (which has gone weird and gritty:huh:)
Mine did that too and it I ended up binning it (after a misguided attempt to turn it into a lip scrub :rotfl:)juliebunny wrote: »Am I the only person worried that there is enough info on the census form for someone to steal my identidy? Could do it online - I'm doing ours when I've posted this. You might as well - they'll only send the census-police round day-after-day-after-day until you do. The census police don't get paid until everyone on their route has returned their forms.
UU's
BS Spiced Vanilla Lip Butter (I refuse to call it a balm - it's a butter!): WIBA? Can't - but will probably buy next years incarnation. I have another in my stash but am using up the Cranberry one first. It lasted 3 months as I opened it on xmas day
Lime, Basil & Mandarin Bubblebath (can't remember the brand - was a cheap sell off in Lloyds 3for1): WIBA? No - smelt nice but refused to bubble so really just made nice smelling water :rotfl:
Boots Cucumber 3 Minute Mask: WIBA? Yeah - loved the smell, made my face feel fresh but not tight
No IN's at all over the weekend :T
Down to our very final bottle of Bubble Bath :j have told OH he'll have to put up with smelling like a strawberry for a few days and I'll buy him some 'proper' Radox during the week :rotfl:
Have made a start on DD's room - have sorted all clothes out - have got her disgusting mess of half-used cosmetics/toiletries to go through. Will make a start tomorrow. OK - pot, kettle, black- but everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - is covered in a sheen of eyeshadow/spilt hair serum
I was gonna do an updated stash list but will wait for the new month and do a starting stash list for April - I can't believe it's almost April already
Right - census and bath - byeeee
ps: anyone heard from Roshy? I'm dying to know how her Aussie plan are going :think:0 -
Another UU and another £1 in the pot. LUSH Christmas Party bathbomb, WIBA for sure, 1 more in the stash to go and actually think I'm into single figures on the bathbomb stash...have to get working on BF to buy me some once it runs out. Lol guess I could spend my £39 I've saved but kinda don't wnat to touch that until my stash is gone...well the toiletries at least I think the make up will last me a life time.Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Hi all
I've not been about for over a week, thought I had flu but I had the flu jab, so it can't be that.... Still dont feel 100% so hoping doc might take pity on me when I go for my 6 week check tomorrow....
Hope you're all well, i'm just about to read back and see what you've all been up to....
Thinking of asking for some Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for mothers day? Any thoughts or is there something better/nicer I could try??
Also, Mum has asked for a face moisturiser for Mums day, could anyone recommend one for a 60+ year old? She has normal/dry skin....
TIA x
I can recommend the deal Avon have on at the moment on their new Anew Regime starter packs - £10 gets you a trial size cleanser, day cream and night cream, and a full size eye cream. It would be the "Platinum" your Mum woukld need - it has excellent feedback! You also get a £10 voucher to be used off a purchase of the full regime pack in the next few books.juliebunny wrote: »And dont forget to ask your council tax for a single person discount too - you'll get 25% off.

NO!!! It's because - like all of us - she has a problem over-buying toiletries!!! if you look at ACCA's confessions, she bought 2 of several things aswell - how many of us can hold up our hands to this!!:T
Now read back over the questions, and tell us honestly how much of that information you think isn't already on file somewhere anyway? As for what happens if you refuse to send it back - you will be prosecuted and fined - they have said they are intending to crack down hard on those not complying this time. Just think - in 100 years someone looking back into their family history might be reading with fascination about you and your life in the same way that we look at the 1901 census now!Hi Celebrate, don't worry about being nosy, I think I've divulged enough on here to not worry about whether someone's being nosy :rotfl:

That sounds really positive Lynsey - I'm so glad to hear that things appear to be a bit better now.
I've added my BS stuff from yesterday onto my list on Page 1, but haven't put them into the bathroom cupboard yet as I want to make a dent in the older stuff in there before working on to the newer BS & S&G bits. There is quite a good sized hole appearing in there now, and I'm loving the thought that when I come to fill it up again it will be with products I really like and am looking forward to trying.
I still have a few things spluttering :-
Soap in the bathroom
Conditioner
Dry Skin SOS lip balm
Clinique Superbalm tinted
and the horrible nail varnish remover is down to its last cm or so in the bottle - thank goodness. the next few days should see off several of those.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Glad your ok and starting to move forward rather than go backward, i've found in my own marraige that it was a total waste of time trying to rake over the past or try and change my OH at all. I have learned to accept him just the way he is. It is worth discussing however what you both want from any future relationship should you decide to go there again. For us it was a joint back account with a monthly DD from him, i know it sounds awful but i have been supporting him for yrs while he wasted his own money-long story.
The other thing I have learned is how to "act" -ie being nice to him even if i'm in a shi* mood and especially the in laws even though we have a mutual dislike I have learned never to show it. Positive behaviour eventually gets positive returns.
I hope it all works out for you, lots of hugs x:)GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

So many welcomes, hugs and loving thoughts to give out - so consider yourself welcomed, hugged if you want it and lovingly thought of!
A re-use rather than a UU - the Radox Bath Soak for tired muscles is now in the kitchen in a hand pump that previously contained runny, useless hand gel to be used up as hand wash.
I also refilled the bathroom hand wash from a bottle of 2002 BS Seaweed Shower Gel. Being yellow, it blended in with the light orange hand wash well. The handwash now has manuka honey, oatmilk, rooibos, magnolia and seaweed in it ... unbelievably, it looks and smells fine.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... hi guys, thanks for the advice on the bl**dy census. Have done it online <groan><moan> begrudginly. I should have just put 'refer to my Boots.com' account for a few of the questions - i'm sure they know pretty much all of my information!! :rotfl:
It scares me how easy it is to steal someone's identity and how much so many different organisations know about me....and how they don't talk to each other, you just have to keep giving it out again and again. Even the most simple websites/loyalty cards ask for your date of birth - even the body shop LYB card - anyway, I put the wrong year on my LYB app - knocked a few off.....you youngsters worrying about turning 30 - pah - 30's were great years for me.....it's the 40's I'm facing now...:(
Finally uu a vaseline intensive care lotion (as opposed to body butter!) - I can't recall how old it was, but I'm thinking really really old, like maybe 7-8 years......plus...!!
Celebrate - now concentrate on the right thread :rotfl:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
evening! Apologies in advance as im typing this on my phone so cant do paragraphs so will try to keep it short
havent bought anything since my freebies on friday, although will be printing off a few more coupons for the free hair dye - even if its not my usual colour im grateful to have something for free, rather that than have grey looking hair
may well try and use my BS groupon this week but still dont know what on. With the exception of having a horrible cold (yet again!) had a pretty good weekend - me and OH went to St Fagans open air museum, was really good. Coming home was interesting mind almost ended up in a police chase and road block!
