Well i can see I've been totally over-ruled on the 'body butter i the same as body lotion' debate so I'll give in gracefully, LOL!!

The IN's are because I spent the Groupon Voucher at the Body Shop. I got:
    Gift set consisting of :
    Moringa Shower Gel
    Moringa Soap
    Moringa Body Scrub
    Moringa body Butter
All in a nice little basket
    Then also:
    Satsuma Shower Gel
    Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel
    Mango Shower Gel
    Shea Shower Cream
Plus the free gift for spending over £25:
    Vitamin E Body Butter.
    And the LYB card

I worked it out as being £61.50's worth of stuff for my £12 voucher spend, so am quite happy with that. I figured I might have done better waiting for a sale to be on, but then they might have pulled the shower gel offer again by that time, and the free body butter persuaded me just to go for it. No need of the naughty step as I did my time there when I bought the voucher. :D

    QUOTE]
Oooh I didn't think they would count the £30 groupon as qualifying for the free gift - hope my local store is as obliging!!
I asked if they will take the groupon on the 30% off day this Thursday discount with the LYB card, and they weren't sure - I'm guessing it will be NO but will wait and see....if not, I'm gonna spend it soon as I'm getting fed up actually looking at it...!!

Resisted the BS offer this week, resisted the S&G bundle on B**ts website but gave in on the sanctuary one yesterday, got a hot cloth cleanser for £10.20 used a acm voucher for 300 points on sanctuary and got the free me time treats box for spending more than £10. Also bought S&G Glow Job, 1/3 off so I gave in, have wanted to try for a while.

welcome newbies, xoxo, gorgeous S&G stash, some things there I've never even seen. Could you sell your wax strips on ebay?

    Glow job?? Really???
I did gaze at the Sanctuary sets today and then the enormous baskets they had made up as mothers day presents but came out only with a No 7 magnifying (spot squeezy) mirror for £3.50 ish with my No 7 voucher....ooops. Well, cold turkey really starts 1 April. Definitely going to do better next month...:rotfl:

Off topic but I know you lovely ladies will probably be able to give me the answer I need.

As most of you know my husband and I have separated and he has now moved out. I'm in the process of filling out the census form and am not sure if I shouldn't include him because he doesn't live here or if I should be because we own the house jointly.

Part of me is thinking I shouldn't include him and just fill out for myself but I have this little doubt in my mind and don't want to fill it out wrong.

And dont forget to ask your council tax for a single person discount too - you'll get 25% off.
Am I the only person worried that there is enough info on the census form for someone to steal my identidy? Name, address, job, date of birth....?? Wonder what happens if I refuse to send it back. Smacks of big brother from the State to me.

Me too!!!!!;) cos I'm thinking if she's bought that many of their nail varniishes then they must be good!!!!

NO!!! It's because - like all of us - she has a problem over-buying toiletries!!! if you look at ACCA's confessions, she bought 2 of several things aswell - how many of us can hold up our hands to this!!:T

    Hi all

I've not been about for over a week, thought I had flu but I had the flu jab, so it can't be that.... Still dont feel 100% so hoping doc might take pity on me when I go for my 6 week check tomorrow....

Hope you're all well, i'm just about to read back and see what you've all been up to....

Thinking of asking for some Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for mothers day? Any thoughts or is there something better/nicer I could try??

Also, Mum has asked for a face moisturiser for Mums day, could anyone recommend one for a 60+ year old? She has normal/dry skin....

    TIA x

Hi SJP - I've just started using BS Aloe face cream, really like it. Also use No 7 day cream. I've got very dry skin. I did get on with the freebie clinique one too but no idea what the full price product would cost....what fun that your mum wants toiletries - guilt free shopping!

When I spent my voucher in Edinburgh the SA told me I wouldn't get the free body butter as well but that it works with most other offers.
I didn't mind at all because I am struggling through a BS Vit E BB and I really don't like the smell!! My heart sank at the thought of getting another whole tub of it!

Thought I had dug out all my toiletries from their hiding places but no. Today when putting my winter boots away at the bottom of the cupboard (yay, Spring :j) I found a handbag that I forgot I owned with a hairbrush and a tube of H&M hand cream in it.

The hand cream is at the need to cut open stage so should hopefully use it up in time to count my March UU!!

Can't believe how late it's getting, I want my extra hour back!!
No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
    35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins
  • Whenever I look at this thread I always want more toiletries, I don't know how you guys are managing to get rid when you're always seeing temptation on here :p

I don't have an enormous stash or anything but i am TERRIBLE for not using up nice things and always 'saving' them.

So I'll try putting 10p or 20p in a pot for each nice toiletry usage (face/hair masks, lotions, butters) and get something new when I have enough. I have my eye on S&Gs hot cloth cleanser so hopefully theres another offer when I get there :D
