Lol at the new obsession we're about to start celebrate on! My toes need redoing but I don't think it'll be tonight, I'm just off for a bath before work.
Neighbour knocked earlier to give me some courgettes (we love them she doesn't!) and said "Ooh, like the face, you going somewhere nice?" me "eh?" she said I had sparkly eyes and I had to confess that it was cause I was so knackered this morning that I didn't take my makeup off, I just went to bed. Yay for being glam with mascara smeared all around my face though!
Celebrate, the thing to look for when gifting items is to make sure that there aren't any obvious date things on them like vouchers etc. Check for sell by dates and such like too. So long as things are kept in a cool dry place and are unopened, the majority of them should be ok but I would be wary of body butters and lotions as they seem to be the items which have issues with separating and discolouring. Perhaps make up gift sets of body butters and perfumes for this year and go for shower gels bubble baths etc next year?
If your sister still visits your stash for shopping, how about letting her visit your stash for her gift shopping too? That will get her gifts for nice prices and get your stash levels down too.
PS, we're still waiting for photos of your stash items!
I think that I'm going to give up on my aloe moisturizer for the time being as it is a thick one which seems to be better for my poor hands when they are struggling and my feet too. They do get very dry and sore at times. It doesn't inspire me to smear it all over myself though for pampering. I will dig out one of DH's nivea face jobbies to try and shift it but after that's gone, I think I will crack open one of the tubs of body butter which are so lovely and I don't have any real treat butters or lotions in my stash now. Does that sound ok? I won't be buying, rather than shopping from my present stash but it means that I will have something lovely to use myself which inspires me to get rid of the meh items (IYSWIM?).
Apparently it's a super moon this weekend, might explain why work is sooooooooo mad atm. Most of the pts are barking which makes it really hard to do anything for the sick ones as you are constantly having to stop the fallers from falling/ climbing out of bed/ shouting/ tearing out IV's etc.
Happy pampering ladiesTTFN, Kaz.

@thevicster Sounds like you want that nail polish really badly- it is only 1 tiny bottle and you would use it immediately........
@celebrate You need to be careful that you don't give the 75% off boots stock to people who frequent shops because they would recognise the items as last years stock which would be a bitYou could take things out of the boxes and repackage or mix and match the items into hampers.
When you bought all of that perfume did you get things like free gift with purchase luggage bags or matching shower gels? I'm loving the free bag with Stella McCartney perfume at the moment, might get it from eBay and there are sports bags and luggage bags with a lot of aftershaves at the moment too. Things like that really tempt me.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
am i the only person on this thread that doesn't wear nail varnish??
:rotfl:
feeling a bit left out lol!
no i don't often wear nail polish because my nails always break, split or dry out when i use it.
Actually i was wondering if any one can give me some advice about weak, brittle, dry nails. At the moment i'm rubbing the Sanctury Kyphi shea salve in every night (not sure how else to use it basically cos it's solid and in a tin) but it doesn't seem to be making much difference. I do suffer from excema and very dry skin so i wonder if this is causing my nail problems.0 -

I have tonnes of hand soap on the go at the moment. I was thinking about using it as a shampoo? I've used bar soap on my hair before and it wasn't that awful....?
