Don't think I'm really getting this DTD thing either, seems like it is too time consuming if you want more than a couple of quid back, I'm too blooming lazy for all that faff.

Did someone ask about eye liner recently of have I imagined that.If they did here goes... I used to have the same problem with it making my eyes look smaller but now I use it everyday. The trick for me was not to put it on the inside of my lower lid but just along the bottom lash line, make sure the pencil is thickish and not sharp and pointy, and only go to from the outer edge to the middle. I use No7 amazing eyes pencil in brown and it has a smudger at one end so you get a nice smudgy look rather than an 80's throwback look.

Yes it was me, will try out your tips tomorrow - thanks vivh!

It's not a paste, but I really like Lee Stafford's Messed Up Spray Wax - basically, it's like a normal wax but you spray it into your hair and then work it through, so it gives similar hold to a paste but is a lot lighter.

Thanks MW - not heard oof that one - might just be what I am looking for. Will have a closer look next time I am in town.

I think I'm a graduate, have been for a while I reckon , but in the true sense since we did the Give and Make-Up Boxes and had my personal PRCP moment re my non-responsibility for using up DD's leftovers.

Next to nothing left now tbh that I don't like and working my towards my perfect pared down kit :j

(Did start doing this in my own way, a year before the thread actually started though Phew!)

    Well done Bronnie :T

Ive got two UUs - the seaweed shower gel and the horrible ginger soufle stuff. WIBA?? no - I might buy the seaweed one if I ever saw it on its own - but definately wouldnt buy the ginger stuff, its nasty !!!

I had a freebie sample of that too. I UU last month and hated it too.

Swan - I use Quidco (see sig below). Been on it for just over a year. Only had to querry two buys - one the RAC £40 cashback and Shelias Wheels Car Insurance for £56. Didn't get either as both companys contacted me to say that my debit card details hadn't went through properly. Hhhmmm far too convenient me thinks! Never had any other probs though.

    Splutterer update

I Think I have about another 2 days for my cleanser and 1 day for my toner left. Maybe another 3 days of Atrixo hand cream.

Guys I need some advice and I figured someone here may have a suggestion :p

I keep getting these really deep seated spots, the oily filled kind, with no head (gross I know) - now I swear Ive tried anything and everything to prevent and get rid of these but Ive still never found anything successful. My skin itself I wouldn't say was oily.

    Any ideas anyone?

I used to get these when I was on the depoprovera contraceptive injection (evil thing) and I used to have to lance them with a needle which was awful. Just an idea but are you taking anything like this?

I stopped having the injection and after a couple of months they disappeared never to be seen again.

I just take Microgynon, but Ive had these spots for years before I started taking it...Never seem to get 'normal' spots just these...:(

I can't remember who it was but the toni & guy iron it heat defence spray really is my HG. I use it even when I'm not straightening my hair, it leaves my hair so soft and shiny and smells really nice and doesn't weigh it down. HTH

I had another naughty in today :(

I managed to walk past savers without going in, resisted the half price nivea lip balm in wilkinsons but bought shampoo in morrisons.

In my defence, I don't stash hair stuff and I buy herbal essences when I am close to running out as it is always on offer somewhere. But as I have 2 bottles of HE conditioner (I use way more shampoo than conditioner) and half a bottle of shampoo left, I thought I will just buy a cheap shampoo-I don't think it makes a difference.

so that is my long way of saying I spent another £1.10:o

Anyone else planning on doing their hair this weekend with the Clairol Foam Party freebees?

My friend is getting a friend who trained as a hairdresser to do hers. I'm a bit more confident of my own skills, but it will be interesting to see if the stuff really is as mess-free as it claims.

No UU's, no ins, still just £1.74 in cash and £6.87 in Tesco vouchers spent on toiletries since the end of December. I'm patiently waiting for a couple of free samples to arrive, but just little things, nothing exciting. Although tonight is Amazon Vine freebie night, so one never knows.

Next UU will be the M & S pomegranate body butter, which has 2 applications left.

Savers doesn't seem to get many mentions on the thread, but I think they're great. The small snag is that you can never quite rely on them having something again, though there do seem to be some constants. I used to get my more expensive Olay stuff from them as it was inevitably significantly cheaper.

I've missed being able to buy toiletries from them, given that I said I wouldn't spend any cash this year and get the bare minimum that I need with vouchers.

They are top notch for household cleaning gear as well, plus cheapo vitamins and supplements.
