Hehe! I'm glad you got it now Pudsey! I wasn't online looking at mugs, I saw it on the ebay board over here and felt I had to share it. Someone on the thread thinks it's a scam though. I'm not sure, but i made me hoot with laughter.
No UU's or splutterers so shall just continue to tag along and shoot disapproving holier than thou looks at the naughty step ;)
I'm tired today, had a very very late night in preparation for starting my nights tonight, I shall be off to bed shortly.

I've managed to get on the buzz campaign for the philips wake up light. It was only £38 and I feel I need it. I think that half of our home problems would be easier if we weren't so tired in the mornings and were able to get up a little easier. I'm not sure how I'm going to manage the flick from days to nights with trying to get up at 6.30 every morning but I do know that DH's alarm just doesn't wake me up. My phone alarm does so I think I'll just have to set that every day for 6am or even 5.30 so that I feel like I'm getting a lie in (IYSWIM?). It should be easy enough to stick with in the summer but it's the winter that it's so much harder. If I manage to get a good pattern going though before winter, maybe I can get on top of it?
We had an awful awful morning with DD today, she's just so rude. Of course, we're tired an grumpy which doesn't help deal with her. Poor DS just sits there quietly reading his book and we end up having to rush him out of the door because he's been overlooked and isn't properly ready. Gah, not a good morning today :(

Amazing UUs Flirtini - you used a whole UD pencil? My shortest one is about 1.5" and next shortest is travel-sized :D

Happy Birthday IlonaRN. Hope you had a great time :)

thevicster - you should know by now I'm going to ask for a pic. I do love seeing nail varnish colours - if you all hadn't already guessed :rotfl: The downside of trying the crackle varnish is now wanting the other colour crackles which somebody said were on the way
Wow, I go away for a day and this thread goes mad!
I use TopCashBack, only because you get all the money that you earn on it, and have made about £200. Have never had any problems with it re: security. I do think it's worth it, especially if you take advantage of the special deals like the one a few weeks back where you got £16 for doing a credit check with Equifax, or if you're buying 'big' things like insurance, new phone contract etc, but maybe not so much if you're only buying bits of things here and there.
If you'd like a sign up code let me know and I'll PM you (I should point out that if you use my link I'll get £5 back for recommending a friend).
Also, love those nails! :) I need to paint mine again, am thinking Barry M Racing Green and CG Fairy Dust in honour of St Patrick's Day.
Thanks fot that. Finally at a PC so hopefully look into it on a 'proper' break :) It was my first attempt with the crackle so I'm seriously pleased it worked out :) Definitely post a pic if you paint them please!!

Just read up about the graduate list. hee hee good idea

I think I'm a graduate, have been for a while I reckon , but in the true sense since we did the Give and Make-Up Boxes and had my personal PRCP moment re my non-responsibility for using up DD's leftovers.

Next to nothing left now tbh that I don't like and working my towards my perfect pared down kit :j

(Did start doing this in my own way, a year before the thread actually started though Phew!)
  • u/u this month: Olay face wash. WIBA: nothing special and I have a couple in the stash thanks to Boots' Olay vouchers last year. Two conditioners-from-hair-colouring-products: took them on holiday for the week to use. Plenty more in stash.

Ins: 3 nail varnishes to use up No 7 vouchers. One silver, one teal and a base coat, worked out at £1.80 each. Bargain!

charlie was it you that posted only 2p DTd from tesco? do you want some training on how to fleece tesco???????????

    Indeed it was me :p

Figured Id just upload my receipt and thats what I got haha

Would attempt to get something good out of it but OH is a right miserable sod over the whole thing and says its not worth our time, and that 'people on the internet' aren't exactly reliable...hey ho...

Shame the express stores arnt included as Id go there and do a bit on my own but the big Tesco is too far away for me to walk (not exactly 'too far') distance itself isnt exactly the problem, its less than a mile but it requires walking alongside a dual carriageway and getting across a huge junction which has no pedestrian lights, plus coming home would require walking up the mother of all hills - and Im incredibly weak so wouldn't be able to carry much anyway. Best leave those trips to OH in the car :p

Think Ill have to pass on this one, to be honest most of our shop is non comparable anyway, last week there was only 5 items which were compared and 3 of those we don't usually buy anyway :o

Don't think I'm really getting this DTD thing either, seems like it is too time consuming if you want more than a couple of quid back, I'm too blooming lazy for all that faff.

Did someone ask about eye liner recently of have I imagined that.If they did here goes... I used to have the same problem with it making my eyes look smaller but now I use it everyday. The trick for me was not to put it on the inside of my lower lid but just along the bottom lash line, make sure the pencil is thickish and not sharp and pointy, and only go to from the outer edge to the middle. I use No7 amazing eyes pencil in brown and it has a smudger at one end so you get a nice smudgy look rather than an 80's throwback look.
