Thanks for that :j:jYou seem to have missed the fact that lawyers and solicitors are the same thing. Indeed, there is no such role as lawyer in the English legal system! :rotfl:You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I am annoyed at the fact she would not admit someone had made a mistake in displaying the merchandise incorrectly and instead treated me like a fool. But i do thank you for your response

If the sky really was blue why is it that you dont see the blueness from space?
Ill tell you why - because the sky isnt blue

i do it everywhere. but supervisor just outright said 'no' as it was 'an old promo'... funny the price sticker wasn't anything special. but the manager came over and said 'well if it says £30 then sell it for £30'. had a £3 off 30 spend coupon tooGooglewhacker wrote: »You got lucky, they would have been quite right to refuse but sometimes the goodwill prevails.
Shops needs to sell at the price shown on the ticket. u cant just change it and say 'oh sorry no u cant have it for that price'.
Madness but then again New Look are notorious for things like this!0 -

No they dont and yes they can0 -
If a shop has a lower price on, they can not then try and make you pay more, however they dont have to sell it at the lower price either...its very confusing isnt it!
I would guess that as others have said, the 'newer' looking ones were new stock and had a different code that was not part of the deal. It would have been interesting to see if the price the shoes with the £15 stickers came out at the higher or lower price.0 -

Erm, no. By this reasoning any old thief can take a £2 price sticker off a pair of socks, stick it on a £50 coat and demand to pay the £2! And yes, thieves do try it on by moving price labels.0 -
so whats the point of price stickering goods then if when u get to the till they can change it at the drop of a hat.
This is why i dont do food shopping online, coz they try the 'delivery date' price as if they havent 'held' the 'order' funds already.
better still go 99p stop or poundland.... failing that argue until they sell it @ the ticket price.0 -
