If a shop has a lower price on, they can not then try and make you pay more, however they dont have to sell it at the lower price either...its very confusing isnt it!

I would guess that as others have said, the 'newer' looking ones were new stock and had a different code that was not part of the deal. It would have been interesting to see if the price the shoes with the £15 stickers came out at the higher or lower price.

Erm, no. By this reasoning any old thief can take a £2 price sticker off a pair of socks, stick it on a £50 coat and demand to pay the £2! And yes, thieves do try it on by moving price labels.

so whats the point of price stickering goods then if when u get to the till they can change it at the drop of a hat.

This is why i dont do food shopping online, coz they try the 'delivery date' price as if they havent 'held' the 'order' funds already.

better still go 99p stop or poundland.... failing that argue until they sell it @ the ticket price.

Its called an invitation to buy.. They dont have to sell you anything if they should choose not too.
