I did the February one but then completly forgot about it. I'm going to bookmark it this time to help me remember it. I think some of these are the same as last time

    1) Spend as little of my Grocery budget as possible (£260 includes food, pet food etc, cleaning products, alcohol and stuff for the house) £219.28/260 so far.
    2) Clean the landing carpet using stardrops (want to see whether it works so I don't have to pay to hire a carpet cleaner)
    3) Sort out all of the DVD's, throw away any that are scratched and watch old ones rather than buy any new ones.
    4) Find nice pictures that I've taken, print them and put them in the empty frames I've got, put them up in the living room (I'm not going to buy new pictures when I've got lots of beautiful photos and frames I can reuse)
    [STRIKE]
    5) Finish taking the turf off the veg patch extensions and tidy the raised beds.
[/STRIKE]6) Plant seeds ready for veg patch. (1 lot planted so far :))
    7) Mend the gate
    [STRIKE]
    8) Nag OH until he mends the waterpipe in the outdoor loo.
[/STRIKE] Feel bit guilty about this because it took much, much, much longer to do than expected and cost more too:o
    9) Cycle to work at least 10 times. (8/10)

    I've also:
    * washed the dog.
    * been to the tip three times.
    [STRIKE]December low - £3012 January low - £2589[/STRIKE]
    February low -£2434
    Loan -£1075
In 2011, I aim to grow £120 pounds worth of produce. (£0 so far)
I'm also aiming to cook 100 new things before I buy a new cookbook. (82/100)
    Declutter 189/199

    Hello,

My aim for march is to pay off my the last off my cc debt to be finally debt free.
Draw up a plan for the start of a house deposit, Im 27 and still with my mother (bless her she has been very kind) so it's time I thought about moving out and gaining independent.

  • During March I am going to:
*Relist items and add items for ebay. Aim to make £50 to put towards my ASDA card.
*Keep taking in own lunch to office job (1/8)
*Try to take own lunch to promo job (more difficult with no firdge/microwave!) (0/18)
*Pay off my share of the holiday, [STRIKE]FLIGHTS[/STRIKE]/ACCOMODATION
*Start a new £2 coin savings pot and put total towards ASDA card

Oh dear - my third aim failed terribly today! I spent £6 on lunch! I didn't take anything with me and ended up with a jacket potato and a coke in a really nice cafe! Whoops! Should be able to do better tomorrow! But I have paid off the flights so that's half a one done! :rotfl:

  • This is Great! I missed the Feb one. I have been thinking about my aims and they are below. Since Dec I have been saving for a 5 day trip to Barcelona and we go this week! Feels great to know all the money is there and I won't have to worry about "paying it off" when I get back :) I need to have another thing to save for to keep me focused - this month it will be my ASDA card repayments.

During March I am going to:
*Relist items and add items for ebay.:) Aim to make £50 to put towards my ASDA card.
*Keep taking in own lunch to office job (2/8)
*Try to take own lunch to promo job (more difficult with no firdge/microwave!) (0/18)

    :)

Have updated aims and not doing too badly! Its the lunch thing that is the hardest - especially at the promo job. Anyone got tasty, cheap lunch in a box ideas?!

    • Paint one of my map pictures
    • Send prelim notes to Orchard project
    • Keep taking out £55 cash weekly for groceries (this is for 2 adults and 1 child)
    • Avoid library fines
    • Sort car boot stuff
    • Keep having post-it in purse with record of grocery spend (this is good for keep track when I don't get receipts)
    • Start teaching son to juggle
    • Re-package my tee's for sale at fete/fair later in year
    • Remember thank you notes to people

  • I was wondering if there would be a March thread, I did post in the Feb one but never remembered to come back. In fact Feb wasn't a great month apart from my holiday which was wonderful and made me realise just how miserable I have been. So my aims for March are as follows.......

    1. Take my vitamins each day not done
    2. Sort out my taxes (self employed stuff) getting somewhere
    3. Sort out the student loans company (possible overpayment)not done
    4. File my paperwork (this has been irritating me since before Christmas....) getting somewhere
    5. Go to the Dentist and ask about the pain I am getting DONE
    6. exercise 3 times a weeknot done
    7. work out a healthy eating plan and actually stick to it. (weight watchers??) (Dukan diet??) not done (unless there was a Creme Egg diet I haven't heard of and have been on it by accident)
    8. Pay off the Tesco's spending from Holiday DONE
    9. Get loan below 2500. (currently 3118) not done but v possible
    10. Ebay 10 items not done

If I can do these I will feel much more in control and a Summer holiday will be a possibility.

    xxxx

Welllllllll its kinda ticking along. Am surprised.

    How is everyone else doing?
