Fire lit and Rhys i think is running on empty. He'll be fun later today.

Kazw nothing ever happened. When the letter went to the head, she called a meeting but i never recieved a letter back stating what she planned to do. I thought she had to within 7 days. As for the board i know they only hold meetings every couple of months. Even to send another letter again now i probably wouldn't get a response until after easter if at all. As for the head there's just no point, she'll say the same as usual and nothing will be done.
Focus on moving the kids right now, as this is the most important thing, but also find out what the compliants policy is and follow it. Hopefully you have a record of all the incidents/letters/discussions, but if you don't, go back through your posts on here and try to put something together with as much detail as you can.

Of course, there are always the papers...

Had a nice day out yesterday cake decorating again (mermaids this time... so the first time I've had to do hair and arms...). Dropped it off with friends in London and stayed for supper.

Really need to get my act together and get cleared up ready for tomorrow a. my mother is coming to stay and b. I have a viewing an hour after she gets here. And two estate agents coming the following day. I've shoved a whole lot of stuff outside for the charity bag collection (if they don't take the books, they will be heading to Hex's home for unloved books).

So there will be minimal work today, interspersed with housework...

Thanks everyone, i've everything wrote down from september and a copy of the letters sent. I'm just hoping that DD will get on ok today. :( I've told her if things get bad just tell the teacher you want to go home.

Dw just finished so i'll get it emptied and refilled.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Kids all up and eating breakfast, dw and wm both on. I'm gonna get dressed and get stuff for lighting the fire. Frosty here this morning with a little bit of a red sky, so hopefully it will be another sunny day. :D

Is't it "red sky at night, shepherds' delight; red sky in morning, shepherds' warning"?

  • I was a primary school governor for 4 years - my piece of advice would be to write, detailing the incidents, to the PARENT GOVERNORS on the board. State what has happened. State that you are moving the kids and reinforce that you don't want it to happen to anyone else.

As a primary school parent governor i woulde have been appalled if anything like that had happened at the school.

I agree with the principle of this, but as a parent governor where the head and chair of governors are very tight with each other and immensely complacent, I'm not sure just the parent governors alone could act.

Any school that denies it has bullies is deluded - what marks out good schools is the way they deal with things like bullying....

    Absolutely.

    Is the right answer:T:T:T

eta greenbee my biggest weapon in selling my house was splurging a load of money on expensive home fragrance in all the matching variants. Made more difference than anything.

Have arranged for a guy to come and fix the garage door.

I will join you grateful - have just put a couple of loads of washing away, so need to put one in the WM. I want to whizz round downstairs as I've a friend coming over tomorrow, so need it all tidy.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
