Firstly thank you, i am overwhelmed by how kind everyone has been, big hugs back to you all for your support :grouphug:
Well the long & short of it is that it doesn't look like i will be starting the new jobThat's the bad news that totally threw me off track yesterday.
The good news is that in an off the record discussion with my current boss he stated that he should have done much more to resolve the problems i've had but didn't only because he thought i was leaving. On the basis that it looks like i will probably be staying he has arranged a meeting in early April to put a support plan in place & he was just generally very kind to me which does make me feel better.
The other good news (& the reason why i haven't explained more fully) is that my union has been amazing & is starting to explore legal channels with regards to the job i've been waiting to start, it may come to nothing, but i have options (which is Nargle's natural justice with a little push from me!!), all i have to do is fill in a mountain of forms, keep all the details to myself & keep my fingers crossed that they come through for me!!
I'm definitely feeling a bit more positive today, i guess i just realised that this is what i'm stuck with for now & i have to make it work for me before i lose the ability to cope.... so smiley BDINI is back!!:D
Glad to hear things are getting easier for you xx :grouphug:

Have had a hectic day, so only just got the chance to sign in and claim NSD#10 :j. Really don't think I will reach my target this month, but at least I have made double figures. Still a week to go though.
Had some news about DHs redundancy today- some good some bad, but at least it is better than no news which has been the case for the last 3 months. The bad news is that they will only get 1 months notice, not 6 months as per their contracts. The good news, however, is 6 weeks pay for each year they have been working there- this means 18 months pay for DH
In short, it means that even if DH doesn't find another job, we should be OK for a couple of years with my extra hours in september. The really weird thing will be that he will take over all the jobs at home- cooking etc. I know that I will be out working but I'm having trouble imagining passing over those sorts of responsibilities after all these years!!
It is a great relief to have more information, but at the same time it has made it suddenly seem very real
Hugs to everyone that needs them, especially BDINI- it sounds as though you are having a really tough time at the moment xxSave £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -

As for the tv...it is so shiny and big, as are the piccies. Nick Robinson's bonce has never looked so polished! :rotfl: Watched NCIS, so sharp, so bright...and that was only Robert Wagner making a guest appearance!! I know we'll get used to it...but when you are only used to a cr***y 17" CRT which had seen much better days...this is magic!!
I am still troubled as to how much it will cost...but as we have it interest free for 6 months...I will make sure we pay off a bit of it every month, so the final bill will be soo much less.
Off to bed now...at the NEC tomorrow all day with a friend, a sewing and craft fair in three halls....bliss!!!! Promise I won't spend too much, though I have been saving a while for this!
Night, night.
Oh, Oh, almost forgot...declaring today as NSD no 14 :j:j

Hi everyone - just a quick update - still no time to really catch up on all the posts but
BDINI - carp news about the new job but glad that your manager has stepped up and hope everything gets sorted at your current job.
Suzie - good news about OH redundancy pay - and I'll bet he looks lovely in a pinnyIs he ok now about your extra hours come sept?
Well I clocked up another NSD yesterday so thats me up to 12 NSD now. Target well and truly in site this month, funny how it seems so close now, when I was on 9 it seemed so far away. Not sure if today will pan out as one or not, off to a tea shop (well can't come to Taiwan without sampling the tea) so might be a little gift shopping but will try not to get captive audience syndrome - promise :A

Good morning everyone!
BDINI - I'm not surprised all that carry-on at work got to you! Sounds like a real guddle. The important thing is for you to keep focussed on what YOU want and stay as positive as you can. ( Easy for me to say, I know) BE KIND TO YOURSELF, and remember we're all here when you want a rant!;)
Keiss -glad the telly is a success and you enjoyed your first night of viewing. I was like that when we changed ours - it's a totally different world! Enjoy your day at the craft show - I'm envious!:)
Beanie - hope you feel good after osteopath, here's a ((((hug))) to cheer you up!
Not sure what Im up to today. I'm on days off now till Monday! I'm needing milk so today wont be an NSD, but I have no plans to do anything major. Need to unwind today!
Have a lovely day everyone:)

Hi everyone! Just a quick update from my little bubble
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday weren't good days on the no spending front, although technically I spent loads of money yesterday it was all for work so that made me feel quite good :rotfl: however veggie box was delivered yesterday morning so I still can't claim a NSD!!
Today I WILL NOT spend any money (well thats what I keep telling myself anyway!! :rotfl: )0 -

Morning all
Things have been a bit busy with one thing and another. So I haven't had much time to catch up on the board. I have an interview for a uni course next week and I'm hoping after that everything slows down a bit. So here is a hug for anyone who needs it :grouphug: and well done for those who are managing to hit their targets. :T
I can declare NSD#12, today will be spendy. So I need to find 3 more in 6 days, hmmm, a bit tight if you ask me.
Have a great day everyone
