No 6 NSD for me. Had a few days small but unavoidable spendies. - bday. card, stamps, printer ink - unfotunately all on different days. :(Hoping next few days will be spend free. Enjoy what's left of weekend:beer:DeeBee0

I drew all my uni money out yesterday on my spend day
£20 for train fares for the week
£10 for drinks while there (£2 + £1.70 x 2 + £1.70 = £9.10 for 5 days)
Will take all other food and fruit with me and water and squash and limit myself to 2 coffees absolute maximum a day
All is budgeted for and money is drawn out waiting meaning so long as I don't spend on anything else on that day it is a NSD
Lets see how I get on this week - aiming for 4 to get to 15 by Friday and then can aim to extend the total again for the second month runningfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Since some little scroat stole my wallet I haven't been able to spend anything.

I've been quite busy with studies, work, emotional ups and downs (I grew up in Japan so have fond memories and friends still there)... and I have managed not to spend on 5 days of the week which is good - the not so good news is I did have a very emotional shop on Thursday after a particularly rough lunch with my estranged son (who moved out to live with his GF and her parents - he is 17) ... it was a heavy spend. I am an emotional shopper - by declaring that I wonder if that is the first step to recovery?
Declaring 12 NSD total
I also had a crap day at work on Friday when it was made clear to me that one of the senior managers would not support a move into a role I wish to apply for... but rather than get 'emotional' and display so called negative 'behavior' (one blow out and you are never allowed to forget it!) I have decided to use the rest of this year to polish up my CV, figure out how to ace interviews and get my lilly white !!! out of there! No medals for loyalty or hard work!
At least I have not lost my sense of humor and I have kept my lent pledge and not hit the bottle!
I hope everyone has had a better week and I am looking forward to next week - bring on clock change time... it means it is closer to warmer weather and BBQ season!
((((((((hugs)))))))), sounds like you've had a rough time recently, hope you're doing ok?February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Blew my NSD yesterday for the sake of a £1's worth of bird food at the local bird sanctuary. Worth it though as one of the groundsmen came round and filled our bag up to the top for free afterwards
Then really blew the budget today by booking my summer hol. Ok, so it is budgeted for, but I haven't saved for it yet, so gonna need a lot more NSD over the coming weeks!!! :rotfl:
Plus, still don't know how much my car's MOT is going to cost, so REALLY hoping that's going to be really reasonable!!
Oh well, at least I have a hol to look forward too.Official DFW nerd 187 :T Highest debt Oct 06 £23,319 _pale_ Cleared end 09. :T

Gosh that takes "emotional week" to a whole new level.
I can definitely sympathise on the work thing - I have got to a very demoralised place with work, to the point I'd started to believe that I wasn't any good at what I do. So I'm also beginning to look at CV guidance ready for making a move.
And hannah, I had my bag stolen last September, it's complete nightmare trying to sort it out.
Anyway, I achieved a small victory this weekend - I didn't spend a single thing Saturday or Sunday - I don't think I've done that in the whole of my (not-so-) adult life before. So a personal victory, and 2 more NSD to declare - 10 NSD total now please BDINITotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
