this is my rough menu plan for next week starting from tommorow :
friday: lunch tuna mayo and cucumber sandwiches.
tea--sc beef stew with root mash and carrots
saturday: breakie: bacon . egg muffins
lunch: chicken soup and ham sandwiches
tea--- hm lasagne verde and salad
supper--hm german potatoe salad, pitta bread and dips
sunday: breakie:
scrambelled eggs on toast
lunch---out at pub :beer:
tea--snacky tea, scotch eggs, sasauge rolls
open sandwiches, dips
Monday---- tea---- sasuage, egg and chips
tuesday
shepperds pie and veg
wednesday
roast chicken, spicy rice and corn on the cob with nandos sauce
thursday
chicken and cheese panninis, salad & chips
friday--scampi, chips and beans

(already started planning the week after too and adding it to the shopping list - how organised do I feel???!!! It'll all go pear shaped when I realise I've forgotten a vital ingredient though!!)

This is only the second time I've made a meal plan but our freezer is full to bursting point so I have to use stuff up. This menu involves me buying beansprouts, pak choi and that is it!
Saturday - fresh pasta with venison in a red wine sauce
Sunday - roast lamb, roast pots, carrots, broccoli, runner beans
Monday - chicken fried rice
Tuesday - egg and chips
Wednesday - pad thai
Thursday - pork kebabs with jacket wedges
Friday - steak, chips, corn on the cob, onion rings, mushrooms and grilled tomato0 -
This weeks meal pans are:
Sunday-Roast Chicken, roasties, yorkies, carrots, cabbage and sprouts
Monday-HM Chicken Pie(leftovers), mash, cabbage and sweetocrn
Tuesday-Spagbol
Wedesday-Lamb Chops, New pots, peas and carrots
Thursday-Shepards Pie, carrots and french beans
Friday-Egg & Chips
Saturday-HM FishPie, Peas & Beans
I need veg, fruit, eggs, salad, coffee and some other stuff this week but will shop at Waitrose and use some vouchers as I have lots.

pot roast beef (will be our "roast" on sunday)

We got our first veg and fruit box delivered this week so had to stretch ourselves to make a menu with what we have rather than buying to suit our menu (if that makes sense?).
Sun - sausage, mash and onion gravy (HM)
Mon - HM chicken breast with pomegrantes and spuds
Tues - lentil dhal (HM)
Weds - HM lamb souvlakia served with couscous w/ mint, apricots and dates
Thurs - one pan spicy rice (HM) - basically onion, curry paste (HM) rice, chickpeas, sultanas all cooked in one pan; very tasty, simple and cheap!
Fri - well I am going out! and DH will have some leftover HM beef stew from the Freezer.0 -
Breakfasts are cereal, toast, fruit, coffee.
Lunches are sandwich/fruit/salty snack for DH and usually soup for me.
Salads are based on what's on sale / special offer when I go shopping.
SUNDAY: Greek potatoes, stuffed vine leaves, crispy vegetarian duck, salad with fennel, apple, cucumber and spring onions with SB creamy poppyseed dressing
MONDAY: Jambalaya, mixed salad
TUESDAY: Veggie chilli, ciabatta, mixed salad
WEDNESDAY: Cabbage rolls, veggie sausages, broccoli and pea salad w/ toasted sunflower seeds
THURSDAY: Veggie burgers on HM buns, HM potato wedges, cole slaw
FRIDAY: Veggie tacos w/ HM guacamole, salsa, spring onions, etc.
SATURDAY: (FIL coming for tea) - Pasta with spinach and roasted veg (tomatoes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, red pepper, garlic), baby peppers stuffed with Cheezly, basil, olives & capers, salad.I want to move to theory. Everything works in theory.0 -
Monday - tomato and mozzarella pasta
Tuesday - Fish and chips and veg
Wednesday - beans on toast
Thursday - omelette

Tuesday- Inside out pizza, hm oven chips, carrots
Wednesday - tea at mum's :j
Thursday - spag bol
Friday - (lazy tea) pizza and oven chips
Saturday - (family party for DD2's 6th birthday) - scouse/buffet food/trifle/cake etc
Sunday - something easy from freezer!!!

Just discovered how useful it is posting menu plans here as I can look and see what is meant to be for tea tonight as I'd forgotten and not got my list!!
Prawn & egg fried rice was lovely (recipe from packet of easy-cook rice). Thought there might be enough for lunch today but we ate it all!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
