they are so easy and cheap to do, just plain flour, egg, milk and water, plus a pinch of salt,
when i make them i fry sliced banana, in butter and add some brown sugar to add some sweetness, then once all softened turn off the heat and mix in some dark rum.
they taste yummy, tho steve doesnt do pancakes so more for me and his dad
just like yorkshires.. except oh no! I haven't put the waterin :rotfl:Will they rise, 3 minutes till door opening time.. PRAYER!0 -

Lemon drizzle cake, not made that in a while...
i am thinking of making one, then serving it as a dessert (ie when still warm) but making maybe a pineapple topping (chopped up pineapple cooked with sugar and in its juice (ie tinnned pineapple). Then serve in dishes topped with lashings of custard or vanilla ice cream, what do you think of that Miche?Eating sensibly to try and lose some weight0 -

yum yum yum. We need a caterers courior, send samples too and fro. You would be losing out bigstyle though.
My yorkshires? Burnt to a crisp because a certain 2 year old turned the oven up to 250 degrees:mad:
edited to add that I used full fat milk so maybe my little one has saved my blushes haha0 -
DD threw a massive tantrum because I didn't get fish and chips for tea. Anyway she has calmed down now so better go and cook that fish that I took from the freezer this morning and boil some spuds. I mean how far is that from fish and chips?
Hope everyone has had a good day."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
