that's all DH says to me. The Eastern European women, they have lovely figures, some work as cleaners at the Hotels they decorate. But he says, they don't stop talking! What do they find to talk about all day long? He says he enjoys looking but not the constant noise.... lol.

I've just spotted an email from MySurveys previously TNS? saying they are sorry that my nectar points that I asked to be paid out to me LAST JUNE, that were not credited, have been re-credited to my account and they apologise!

Going to check and then cash them out again!

It is worth chasing these people until you get back what is due!

It certainly is Aesop - you go after them girl

Morning all. What a stunning day. If anyone wants cheering up read Firewalker's thread. Always makes me smile. The boys are on train to London and send their love. I am at home till late afternoon and i must mark papers, mow grass and do prep for extra lesson tonight.

    DEAF WIFE

A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to, and he thought she might need a hearing aid.

Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family doctor to discuss the problem.

The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking ask her a question and see if she hears you.

If not, go to 30 feet , then 20 feet , and so on until you get a response.."

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den.. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."

Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?"

    No response..

So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

    Still no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

    Again he gets no response.

So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. "Honey, what's for dinner?"

    Again there is no response.

So he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for dinner?"

    (I just love this)

Afternoon guys - hope everyone is well - lovely and sunny here on Tyneside but quite breezy, though the difference is the wind is not cool like it has been so it is very warm

My neice had just been round to see me and I have confirmed the dates of her holidays when I will be staying at her house and she is more than happy for Kit, Steve and Andy to come up and visit me there, so I have emailed them with the dates and hopefully we can sort another holiday to Newcastle for them. It will be more the summer so, as my neice said, we can sit out in their decking and enjoy the sun more this time - they have a lovely family garden, with decking straight off the dining room, with garden table/chairs and barbeque ;);) I'm looking forward to hearing from Steve, Andy and Kit as to what we can sort out :j :j

I've had a lazy morning as I had cramp in my legs during the night again - it's the hard chairs at the home when visiting Mam, and leaning over to feed her, etc, while sitting slightly twisted with the chair slightly sideways as the padded side of the bed mean that you can't get close in otherwise - it is hard on the back and legs, and brings on my sciatica and gives me cramp in my legs at night - but hey ho, gotta be done ;)

I'm off soon to get changed for going down to see Mam so will be back on here when I get back tonight

Well done on marking the exam papers but leave the grass if you are tired or you will exhaust yourself - speak later :A

    Hello!!

3D can you try magnesium tablets or even have a banana per day. That should help with the cramps.

I have had a bad day today so gentle stitching for me. Won't even attempt to do anything else. So it will be channel 4 from 8 to 9 and BBC1 from 9 to 10 and then to bed. Up early as need to do another extra hour at work tomorrow morning.

SW - loved the joke :rotfl:
