I decided to skip the jacket potato and just had steak and salad, with 2 low fat sausages - it was yummy
By the way, Mam was low in the bed and asleep when I got there tonight, so I got the nurse and carer to drag her up, so she was sitting right up and she was much brighter like that - they brought her a huge bowl of mash and mince/gravy and she started eating it herself, so, after making sure she had paper towels over her as napkins, I sent a text to my brother, neice, Mr 3dogs and Kit & the boys - I looked back up and she had finished the whole bowl as I was still typing it outThey had brought her a peice of madiera cake, which is quite dry, so I said I would go get her a r0lo dessert to have with it as there was still no ice cream in their freezer  and, when I got back, she had eaten half of it dry  but will no choking - so I broke up the rest as give her each piece covered in the dessert - she rolled her eyes to say how nice it was
she hadn't really spoke much, but when her nurse came in and gave her the liquid paracetamol, when she finished that Mam said to me 'she's not going to put that thing on me is she?' so the nurse and I had a good laugh at that, as she slipped the nebuliser on her. Now it works so well, with us cleaning it out each time it is used so no residue building up it only takes 5 - 8 minutes to go through, so it isn't as bad for her. It used to take up to half an hour and more, and still not all go through  Anyway, after that, she drank all her cup of tea and had 3 biccies, dunked of course, but was getting a bit sleepy again, so I sat for a little longer watching Heartbeat on TV with her, then lowered the pillow section a little so she could get to sleep easier, and left her to rest
Now, I am sorry I can't stay and chat as I am going upstairs to try to dye my hair platinum blonde - I actually did the patch test on Sunday I don't normally botherand it is fine, no reaction - I think it has to stay on for up to 45 minutes  so I may be a while - wish me luck
