evening Kit, what are you cooking tonight? we had the roast that was planned for yesterday, roast beef, spring greens, suede and carrots mashed together, roast spuds and jersey royal new potatoes. It should give me the energy for work tonight! Hope everyone had a good long bank holiday weekend?

Your meal sounds utterly divine. yum. Am cooking a stew with veg from the market.

Indeedy i have managed to rest and iron today so i am pleased one task/frog is complete. Boult, Bobski and everyone else has worked so hard i am positively lazy. I have to do reports tomorrow before my extra class but it was fab to enjoy the day. I slept for ages. Needed it as have been busy for so long.

well done kit and hope you enjoy your stew, i will do a stew tomorrow in the slow cooker with beef and some swedish pork meatballs, hopefully it will be as crummy as the roast tonight, the beef (boneless rib) melted in your mouth. Am glad you feel rested and ready to face work once again tomorrow. Just heading off for a siesta before getting ready for work later, hugs xx

Wasn't that a bit leathery Andy????? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mam was quiet again tonight and a little breathless - nothing to worry about too much but asked the nurse to keep an eye on it in case she gets any worse and I did check that she still has her preventer inhaler am & pm as they used to do it when we were there at 6 pm but they don't now - she said she still has it, so they must do it later in the evening. she still managed her food easily - scrambled eggs with pureed baked beans, which she loves, then I did her ice cream/aero mint dessert, 3 biccies and cup of tea and she polished off the lot :D

Just had my dinner - sirloin steak, roast parsnips, and salad - yum yum

Glad your mam ate. Glad your food is good. I will ring you in a while after i have eaten.

I have had my tea but after reading your posts (and having done a visit in Jo's diner) I am hungry now. Hmmm some rice cakes with peanut butter wouldn't go amiss...
