it must be so hard doing all this. Hopefully as the weather is getting better, less bank holidays, business starts picking up.0 -

Easy Peasy - the ironing will still be there when the film has finished - the film will not be there when you finish your ironing - SeemplesMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

before I read your whole post boult I thought - wow! what an amazing woman! She can fix a shelf and make up sink storage rack! DH tells me to leave the fixing to him as I make things worse than better! :rotfl:
Aesop, I would be the same with fixing anything up like Boult has done - I can change a plug though so not entirely useless

It's a case of me do it or not get done at all, when I was a teenager anything that went wrong use to realy stress Mum and trigger off a fit [she was grand mal epileptic], stepdad was normaly at work, bro out as usual and my atertude was, calm dowm Mum and let me have a go, so that was it I had a go and fixed it and then it snowballed from there and became my job to do the small repair's....... and any flat pack furiture:eek:
And being able to do a plug is very useful 3Dogs, it's something bro can't do, seeing as he's colour blind.£71.93/ £180.000 -

never thought about that Boult, What happens if you are colour blind. I know the diagram says this wire, this wire, etc. BUT if they have already been wired wrong?
well I can only say you are a STAR boult, and that is not a sarcastic comment, that is genuine. x0 -

Good on you then Boult - a case of 'if you want it done, then do it yourself'. You don't think of that sort of thing for people who are colour blind, do you?
Actually, if I was to try anything like that at home, Mr 3Dogs tells me off in case I hurt myselfBy the way, he had a right old go at my friend/neighbour, the one who broke her knee and who he is checking in on and doing shopping for while I am away - remember she broke her knee falling off a stool/step changing a light bulb/light shade she had cleaned? Well, the other day she told him that some of her vertical blinds had come down and she'd had a right job fixing them. He asked how she had managed that and she said that she had used the step stool   he hit the roof at her and was a little worried that he'd gone too far, until she laughed at her own stupidity and said she didn't like bothering him all the time for little things like that   He made her promise not to do it again .... mind you she said that last time  she is very independent
I am off out soon to visit Mam so will be back on here later tonightMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

:oThank's Ladie's, it's just 'normal' for me to have a go at stuff, and being colour blind has hindered bro a bit, but it's not stopped him from driving, he just had to fill it in on his licence, seeing as it's 3 colour's he can't see, being blue, red and green, but like any other condition it can verry, one of my uncle's it's just the blue he can't tell, and a cousin, for him it's green, so just show's how it can verry.
Hummmmm, glad I potted on my tomatoe's and courgett's, it's starting to get very mucky looking cloud's outside and the wind's got up and it's gone cold.
:DGood for your neighbourg 3Dogs, even if she is scaring you by being so independent, can you imadgen what I'm going to be like when I get older:rotfl::eek::o£71.93/ £180.000 -
