Well, I enjoyed 'Vera' but thought that they overdid Brenda Blethyn's character - I did however love her sidesick Joe Ashworth played by David Leon ;);) and his voice/accent was very nice indeed - easy on the eye and on the ears :D:D

Just said on the news that the boxer Sir Henry Copper has died today - a lovely genuine man :(:(

My dad always liked him. think he met him.

Night Night all - sleep well

, followed by me fixing the shelf and rearanging the cupboard, I can get on with making up the under sink storage rack for the bathroom [/COLOR]

before I read your whole post boult I thought - wow! what an amazing woman! She can fix a shelf and make up sink storage rack! DH tells me to leave the fixing to him as I make things worse than better! :rotfl:

Afternoon guys :D:D I was having a long doze in bed, as usual :o, when I got my early :o wake up call from Steve about 11.30 am :rotfl: :rotfl: Poor Steve was apologising for waking me up - at 11.30 am :rotfl: :rotfl: I honestly was just lying watching TV, dozing, waking up, closing my eyes and dozing again - nothing to get up for really - was gonna get up any minute, really :o:o

Mr 3Dogs has just rang me - he said he might as well not have stalled out today for the number of people about but was still happy as he took enough on Sunday to pay his storage unit rent, pitch fee, put the money in my bank for me to pay the road tax on the van online, and has some left for deisel and shopping - so a very good day after recent weeks - so yes Aesop, he is feeling better today thanks :D:D

Aesop, I would be the same with fixing anything up like Boult has done - I can change a plug though so not entirely useless :D:D

It is very windy here too Kit, and Steve said they had planned to do some gardening today but it is too windy for that - still clear blue sky though - lovely and sunny :j
