Just waiting for DH to come home. He is working late this week.

this is what annoys me about that place. My Deputy Manager does not manage me, I actually report into our Manager, and when she walks into the room and says I need you to do this for me, I say ok, drop everything and do it straight away.

But he sees it as "she is my Assistant, and she should be doing things I tell her to do." I am not his PA, my role was to take off some of his "extreme" workload and give him a chance to breathe and go home at 5.30pm, not 8pm at night. Instead he would give me an envelope and tell me to address it and post things out! Or write an e-mail then spend an hour telling me what to write, what to say, then he wanted to proof read before I sent it! That is a PA, not my job role!

OMG the luxury. I am not going in till 2.30. Todo:
1. prepare stew
2. vacuum
3. do errand for dad.
4. drink lots of tea and be happy!

Nice one SW!! I'm still in my nightie with the cricket on! I'm using the excuse that i'm giving my mum space to get showered before i go up and have one.

Kit, if you dont get time to do all of your jobs, then i suggest you prioritise. Number 4 should definitely be top of the list.
