That's wonderful Aesop - bet you're pleased to be back on your own laptopsavingwannabe wrote: »thanks Aesop and miche and steve, i am ok now. Susan dont worry it is all over. Asses have been kicked (metaphorically only!!!) and i am happy again! off for sleep and then worky poos.

Seems like I've not had a moment to myself today - I guess I have in that I had a lie-in this morning, but been on the go since then. My friend was thankful she could get over to see her Dad on his birthday, and we had a cuppa and a right old natter with me Mum, then called at Tatco on the way home. I help put her shopping away and had a cuppa with her, then Mr 3Dogs got back from getting stall ready for tomorrows car boot - so came home and did a little bite to eat he had eaten at cafe as down there all day and he has now gone to bed for an hour as ker-nackered. He will get up in an hour or so for his hot chocolate and supper and get back to bed as up early in the morning as want to get to car boot by 6.30 am :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Poor Mr 3Dogs, he always seems to be working, you need to win an all expenses holiday for you both
yes, very pleased to be back on my own. Although DH was shouting this morning because of the updates they had affected his profile, and as it is so slow, it takes ages for his profile to kick in again. I did try to check it but nothing was happening before I gave it to him, so thought it was ok....big mistake.0 -

Mr 3Dogs said he is only part-time trader when I was contacting benefits office about coming off incapacity benefit - till I pointed out that Monday is the only day he has completely off - he is either at car boot on Friday and Sunday, or at auction either looking or checking on Tesday, WEdnesday, Thursday, Friday afternoon, & Saturday, not to mention sorting through the stuff either at home or down at the car boot storage unit - definitely full-time  :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I'm only on here for a little while. Proper big shouting today about the state of the house, just sorting out some netmums stuff
and then off again!

do you want to borrow Mr 3Dogs Aesop - he doesn't shout about the state of the house - he just says never mind, it's me as well, that allows the house to get in a state and helps me tidy :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Mr 3Dogs body clock will be all over the place. My father in law does something similar. He tracks around charity shops, car boot, auctions etc looking for rare and first edition books, sells them on ebay to earn his crust. He classes himself as self employed too. I don;t think he works as hard as Mr3D though.
Ranting Aesop. Sometimes once I start I don't stop but it falls on deaf ears.
My house is now safer! We have the earth, just the rewire next month.
My throat is still in tatters, so fed up with it, DH snoozing on sofa as poorly too. Really really want to have some fun and a spring in our step0 -
Mr 3Dogs is suffering with his back and sore hips, which were the main reason, after his cancer op, for him being on Long Term Incapacity Benefit anyway - my friend gave me some V0ltarol gel to rub in and that is helping but he is taking extra pain-killers so getting tired easier
He mostly doesn't feel like he is working with the car boots cause he loves doing that - searching out the gear to sell and the social aspect of talking to people about what he is selling
Washer just finished so just going to get the tops out of there and hang them up in the airing cupboard - won't be longMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I suppose if he's enjoying it, filling his days, earning some pennies and happy, all is well as long as he knows when to stop and have a rest.0

He needs to keep busy as he had not been out of work since he left school - he had not claimed anything from Benefits until this all happened, starting with his back giving out on him in May 2006 then being made redundant, getting another job and then getting made redundant and having the cancer op in the same week, and he hates the indignity of claiming
He could not go back to employment as he would lose too much time with his back and arthritis, but going self-employed means he can work when and where he likes and rest when he needs toMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I would love to borrow Mr 3Dogs, love his sense of humour. My clutter is my clutterI don't do ironing, just pile everything up, have ebay/sell to make money stuff everywhere and paperwork everywhere too.
DH doesn't make a mess as he goes to work, comes home, eats food, goes to bed. Doesn't have time to make a mess.0
