At last, we've finished going through all the bedding now - obviously the contents of some old ladies' airing cupboard
and we have filled 4 black bin bags full to the top with blankets, towels, sheets, etc for the stray doggies and will take them over tomorrow to get them out of the way. Got one bin bag of bits to throw away. Got a lemon fitted/flat sheet set and toning yellow floral bedspread to go up to Mam's for 'my' bed when I am staying there they look brand new but I promise to wash them first
and the rest of the stuff including 2 sleeping bags, bed pads, and cushions, is to sell on the car boot for the strays, together with the umpteen boxes of bits and pieces we sorted earlier
Mr 3Dogs is loading up the van again now - poor thing, his back is aching with humping all those records about for those two guys this afternoon and sorting this lot out tonight. When he is finished loading it all, he is having his cereal supper and a hot chocolate and taking it to bed with him but I have a feeling that he won't be reading long tonightMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I've always been surprised how expensive laptop chargers are. My mum just went and bought a new laptop in the end after the second charger broke!
Luckily mine is going ok! I love my little laptop, i'm the sole user so i don't ever have to wipe the history. HAHA! I need to stop making myself laugh.0 -

Oh and by the way the footie game has just finished and there were no goals so it didn't matter that I could only see half the screen :rotfl: :rotfl: despite the goal-less draw, Spurs still go through to the final 8 of the Champs League after winning the first leg 1 - 0 away, which is great news for them :T

Vix, I can't afford a new laptop, otherwise would buy a new one for DH, as this old one is so naff.
I can't use a netbook, I have too many windows open at the same time, as well as multiple browsers.
thanks chelle! got so cheesed off, just ebay looked for the model details. never thought about serial number.
have asked a friend of a friend on facebook if they can help. just getting really angry.
Just remembered my Deputy Manager made me really angry this afternoon and I vented to both ladies I work with, one went into our Manager and am sure told her ALL about it. But he is not supposed to be working with me mon through wed, but in his hand he had emails printed off that I had sent. ok, I missed out one bit of info, and our manager obviously checked, printed off e-mail and asked him about it. But he is such a control freak he came in, started messing around on my colleague's computer, opened up stuff, asked me if I knew about it, who made sure we got paid, who notified the contractors, and then started telling me to make a list of who we needed to claim for and send it to them now so we would get paid before end of march when they run out of money.
That annoyed me as 2 weeks ago, I stayed late, because our Manager asked me to do the same exercise, another colleague and I collated the info, I was late picking up DS, and he wasn't happy, I e-mailed our Manager, she e-mailed the Contractors. Job done.
Then he comes in and starts ordering me about again! I showed him I had already done, with all the costs, etc and said someone already notifies them to invoice the contractors. He then asked for the e-mail I had sent out to be sent to him, so he could reply. I said no, just reply to your original e-mail saying I had omitted the information. I like the way he didn't copy me in on the reply!
it is my job to deal with this stuff, not his, he didn't need to send an e-mail, I could have, if he just told me what to put in. He is such a control freak but he is no good at his job, which is why they have moved him out of the department. Things just do not happen when he is around. I have seen minutes from meetings asking him to action things, 3 months later, he hasn't done them.
and I was told he was not to interfere mon-wed and I wasn't to ask him for help. So I don't, but he wants to get involved in everything and know everything, even though he doesn't need to.
gaaahhhh
AND I keep getting told and asked about coming in this Sat to do a deep clean in our office! that means hoovering the carpets, and tidying up all the carp we have lying around and getting rid of stuff we don't need, dusting, labelling, stacking, etc. Don't think we are getting paid for it and I have said no, time and time again. I have no childcare for Ds, and am not bringing him in to be bored. apart from that he has a drs appt sat about his skin.
ooh... really bad mood tonight! off to do some ironing and calm down.
sorry for extra long post. x0 -
