Hiya everyone - another lovely sunny day here - makes you feel good doesn't it???
Went to the docs first thing for prescription and further investigation of the fluttering/palpitations/wierd feeling I've had, and I have to go back at 2 pm for ECG and then go for blood tests, checking for faster or irregular heart rythm, and check for over active thyroid - neither of which he thinks will be the case as I have had this in a lesser form for several years, it is only recently it got worse so I went to doc about it. Also, down on the list for a 24 hour heart monitor. Just want to get to the bottom of it as, when it happens, it is scareyMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

not panic attacks is it 3Dogs? When I had mine NHS direct called out the paramedic, had a 12 lead ECG and that is 'all' it was.
I guess they would have thought about that avenue anyway. I didn't realise you were getting those sensations thoughAt least you will get to the bottom of it and it's in hand.

Hi 3Dogs, I think Chelle is right. You are probably having mild panic attacks because of all the things you are dealing with right now, as well as being a friend to all of us on this thread and elsewhere. Your body is telling you to take it easy.

Hello Susan, theres only one thing.. you will need to stop eating chocolate, with all these palpitations etc. that means more chocs for your friends..lol Hope all went well this afternoon with the ECG & the blood tests.
You just need to slow down and relax. I dont mean stay in bed all day.. Your friends care about you. Put your feet up & get my mate to look after you a bit more oftern..0 -
At least 3Dogs you'll be able to lie flat in the doctors office for your ECG. I was slouched half sat up on fofa with every ripple, lump, fat on show.. paramedic was a nice chap.. Think I blushed at all? "Mammy Mammy the man can see your boobies"
Hope all is well and you get some answers this afternoon.0 -

3D - hope it has gone all well for you today. Glad that they are sorting you out.
I have done 7 reviews, 5 to go, I don't think I can stare these spreadheets much longer. 26 minutes and counting..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
