Thanks LT - final exam so little releaved but it was hideously hard so dreading results!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Car news - all sorted

Lodger news - still going well

Revision news - Over!! (unless I have to resit at xmas :mad:)

Other money news - so I have a Lloyds current account and also a second account for bills, I have opened 3 online savers accounts also with them which is great - so I have named as follows -

WAGES - get paid here
BILLS - transfer money monthly in here for bills/mortgage, also rent from lodger.
ENTERTAINMENT - transfer money monthly here for anything I will need for the month (eg night out -cheapo only!, someones birthday etc)
XMAS - will try to save a bit for pressies/office party etc
EMERGENCY - going to pay into this what i can in case of emergencies!

Then I also have RBS current account - monthly I will pay in food budget. I then have HALIFAX current accout which monthly I will pay in petrol budget.


work news - few hours overtime done again

Debt busting - still little steps, £4.28 paid on CC this morning.

Xmas news - still need to do pressie list

fridge freezer news - complained about mark on freezer part and got 10% discount!!!! I never used to complain, but it is definitely worth it.:money:

love life news - shockingly poor at the moment!!!! - same!!!!

other news - off to food festival with a friend today in Shropshire, have budget for lunch and spends and have the cash, no card spending and no unneccessary purchases! might see if i can get couple xmas pressies


right off to make another brew then shower and off to shropshire

Well it has been an up and down few weeks, today is a really bad day, feeling very low.

So on the money front I have continued to make small payments to my CC.

Pay day tomorrow, thank goodness!

A certain guy has not been his usual nice self and think I am being taken for a ride which is hard as I have a lot of feelings.

I failed my exam by 2% so totally gutted. Doing it again in november so starting the revision again, really depressed about it.

I feel so down. Really need to lose weight too - thinking about the gym, can get a membership fror £25. Or can get swimming membership for £14. not sure what to do - if i join i will have to show commitment, just need to change my body i am letting myself go.

all in all not great but getting there............plus still looking at forum even when not feeling i can write in my diary so that is positive.

going to aim for lots of NSDs for october.

oh - i sold my blackberry upgrade for £140 and just bought a £20 phone - only need it for texts and calls so pleased with that x

sorry to hear about your exam, i've been there failing by 1 or 2% and it's soul destroying. sometimes i wish it had been a resounding fail rather than a marginal fail!
well done for selling your blackberry upgrade, i'm like you only use it for text and calls so never get anything expensive.

Car News - need to get a car service (hoping a mate might do it or at his friends garage so will get it a bit cheaper). have been preparing my car for winter - de icer etc in boot, car charger actually in car! new car mats £3.99 - old ones will keep in boot in case it snows and I need tread. Just needs a good clean and wax before winter.

Work news - so so busy. on the plus side - getting a bit of overtime, on the negative side - sooooooooooo tired all the time and should be revising.

Debt - feel like I am getting no where :(need to do proper budget and make an effort, just finding it so so hard . need to do some ebay selling

Life news - need to catch up with some friends, thinking of cheapo ideas. getting along with housemate really well.

off to clear my head and get tips from forum xxx

Ok so how is it only the 11th of the month and I already have no money??????

I avoided 2 work nights out and have been fairly good I think...........

Need to aim for NSD's for rest of month.

Must do food budget - will def need cat food.

Need no toiletries or any purchases so must be strong and stay away from the shops!

Have couple of bday pressies to buy - might try B&M bargains - for kids toys

Also going to ebay some items. Have my keyboard on ebay yet again but no one buying it - not sure where else to advertise it. maybe amazon???

Also need to purchase petrol - on a course next week so will need full tank.

going to have nights in and maybe an odd bottle of wine which will be my treat!

must be strong

off to do food list i think...

excluding petrol I am aiming for 10 NSDs minimum!

sorry you're in a lull. this journey is long, hard and boring at times but it is SOOOOOO worth it! At least you got to day 11 after payday before being skint i'm sure i've been skint on payday for the last 10 years or so

thanks LT just feek like I am getting no where at the moment, work is taking over my life again and just feel stressed out but you are right it is all worth it in the end!!!!xx
