That dress really is lovely!
Well after going to the likes of Debenhams, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Coast, Karen Millen etc my mam eventually ended up getting her dress from.... TK Maxx! She hadn't even considered looking in there until I suggested it to her and ended up getting a lovely purple dress that fitted her perfectly ( she's very petite and needed something fitted )

Every other dress she'd been trying on had been £150+Going to get to grips with food shopping again, starting February!
Got married to my lovely hubby on 12/11/2011

That dress is lovely, definitely something I would wear, just like your Mum I have looked everywhere and I can't find anything. I will have to look on the TK Maxx website.losingpatience wrote: »That dress really is lovely!

I have even considered wearing a shalwar kameez (Indian tunic and trousers) as I think some of the designs are beautiful but other than ordering something online(which I wouldn't do for my wedding outfit) I can't seem to find a shop that you can visit.
Does anyone know of a really nice Indian ladieswear , I live in Northants so Leicester, Luton or Nottingham are do able?
Sorry don't mean to hi jack this thread

irisrose: Where are you? Do you ave anywhere near you that does any kind of hat/fascinator hire or even makes them?
This place near me has over 300 in stock, and can make them to your colours if you send a swatch or take your outfit in. They're very highly recommended by lots of local ladies.
I know my friends Mum bought her outfit in a wedding dress shop and they had her fascinator made to match the right colours.
And here's another one that we saw at a wedding fair and my Mum had a long chat and was impressed with her (which is a big thing coming from my Mum!)First date 10.2.2002
