I'd post your complaint publicly on their Facebook page (name and shame the manager). Have to say that I've only gone to Toby's locally during the day (when it's a fiver), I've never had a problem, when they've got to the end of the gammon joint or the turkey looks a bit dry - I've asked if they've got any more coming out - answer is usually yes - (have always had really good service).

Ive visited the local toby and both times ive been quite pleased with what was on offer,

post was too long so i gave up after a couple of lines, have you written to toby about it as that can yield a better reply

As another customer in that restaurant, if i was enjoying my food you would of totally ruined by evening by being obnoxious! I really don't think that was the way to deal with it.
I love our local toby carvery, we go whenever we can afford it and we always really enjoy ourselves.

i wouldnt be happy with some random stranger interrupting my meal, id tell them where to go

Just got back, and feel really stuffed on the turkey. Bloody gravy was exceptional and the cranberry sauce was brilliant. Beer was decent and Freda allowed me a good firkin amount.

Mash spuds were delicious and the cauliflower cheese, really saucy.

And we had no obnoxious titter running wild with a group on infrared being kicked into shape either. Stuffed now

So did you actually wait 2 hours for your meal? What did you do in that time? Were the other 50 people all waiting for two hours too?
