In any case I'm reliably informed that they've become rather trendy and I'm fed up to the back-teeth of lugging 12 kilo sacks of cat-litter home and then having to drag them up three flights of stairs. I've spotted one on the Argos site that I'm going to buy tomorrow if they have it in stock. Then I won't have to juggle what other heavy shopping I can heft home at the same time. Luxury!
Garden centres have some funky looking ones, ive been looking into them for a while - but if i DO buy one, then i know i have officially passed from what little 'cool' i have into being the 'hippy'! hahaha, im happy with that, just dont think my mum is ready for me to be seen with one when with her! haha
i dont really need one as i have the car, but when the car goes (getting far too expensive to run, so doubt ill have for much longer!) then im investing in one, as public transport here is a nightmare, and im 3 miles of hillsLiving Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Where do you buy such cheap cheese?
For cheapest/best cheese, I like to get the Tesco Value mature grated cheddar at £3.96/Kg last time I checked.0 -
Learn to make crumpets, they're a real comfort food and are just a basic dough mix that you drop into a frying pan.... they can then be frozen and toasted to defrost.
Yorkshire puddings are great. A giant yorkie filled with veg, mash and gravy .... you don't even notice there's no meat.0 -

On a bike? How old are you? You're not supposed to cycle on the pavement (unless it's designated as a cycle path) if you're over 11 years old. A bike is a road vehicle.
I am probably old enough to be your father you cheeky monkey
Maybe I should point out that around here the pavements are mostly devoid of pedestrians and it is not a city or even a townEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I used the pavement most of the timeMaybe I should point out that around here the pavements are mostly devoid of pedestrians and it is not a city or even a town
That's what I do tooI cycle 8 miles to work, much of the time completely devoid of pedestrians. I cycle on the road through the residential parts, but return to the footpath/cycle path out of the towns.
I have it on good authority, that as long as you don;t cycle on the paths in busy areas, or make a nuisance of yourself, the plods will leave you to it:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
