I read enough of your rant to get the gist of it.
    .

not really a rant is it, if i was going along with virgin media are so fing crap i beg you all never to use them and so on then yes but...

also if i was ranting you would know, along the lines of hy should anyone yes sky included be allowed to charge for multirooms? after all your already paying for your house to recieve the signal and then for it to get scrambled if trying in another room

whats next charging for multiple phone points? after all base packages are mainly made of freeview/freesat channels with sky being the best on the base package

also virgin and others stopping you from using any equipment thats not theirs, if you pay the subscription charge whats wrong with it they are blocking you using other companies products should not happen

just like my blackberry blocks me from using facebook and hotmail because i dont have a data plan despite trying to use them via the wi-fi connection basically forcing you to have a blackberry data plan even though you are using wi-fi the list would go on..............

as for the third line again no it is not always easy why have a phoneline installed when you already have one, why can sky and bt not use virgins landline is it because virgin will charge them to much or is it because virgin are blocking them from doing so which i do believe maybe touching competition blocking laws eg just because you have a microsoft pc does not mean you can only have microsoft products but they got a huge fine for not advertising how despite all microsoft pcs being shipped with internet explorer other providers were available

remember the big fall out with virgin and sky when virgin was refusing to pay more to sky for the provision of sky 1 etc

i think thats how it works, eg virgins phone runs of the fibre optic cable? or i think all our virgin are connected to the same point outside eg phone,tv and broadband all end up in the same splitter and virgin own their own access equipment like sky have dishes to recieve via satellite and bt are sent down the old phonelines which in most places give out slower speeds until lines upgraded? but how do virgin manage to upgrade their equipment without changing all the wires something to do with cables i think eg copper and fibre optic

or at least the broadband and tv do as downstairs when they put broadband in all they did was use a splitter to connect the tv and broadband to the same inlet cable but surely a deal could be done with virgin to let them use there fibre cables meaning either sky and bt dont want to as they are happy with their system (bt obviously are) but sky pay bt to use the phonelines to provide broadband so the same could be done with sky to virgin broadband opening the market for them to provide non phone line is okay
