On the day a teacher was disciplined as being racist for quoting the old non PC rhyme to remember the code, my question is what rhyme do you use.
The code is:-
0 Black
1 Brown
2 Red
3 Orange
4 Yellow
5 Green
6 Blue
7 Violet
8 Grey
9 White
The code is:-
0 Black
1 Brown
2 Red
3 Orange
4 Yellow
5 Green
6 Blue
7 Violet
8 Grey
9 White
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I've never known a rhyme for this, and I don't see any need for one, in fact it seems to me it would be slower
it might help some people to note that from red to violet are in the order of colours of the rainbow0 -
I remember the racist one as well from about 30 years ago.0
