Sun 9.50 Holidays - Haven Church Farm, Sussex

I am going to church farm in oct halfterm and my balance is due end of August, so I guess its 8 weeks before. I will be taking off linen as we always take our own sheets and pillowcases.

I'd misread your OP!! And thought you paying in June not going in June.
All i do is call to make payment and when they say it's XX I say Oh i don't want linen ( I always ahve passes as sometimes they're needed for the pool as well as the club) They adjust the price and I pay that new price.

And it does state in the Sun supplement that certain dates in June/July means you pay £15pp instead of £9.50.
We're paying 9.50 in April and 15 in July

Went on a Sun deal two years ago(?) and I don't believe we paid a charge for electric?

Park was good, our only grumble was about the restaurant manager, who was a complete 'ay-noose' but hopefully he'll have left by now.

yes some don't charge for the Elec It does state which ones in the brochure

Church Farm is a lovely site, one of the better Haven ones I have stayed on.

It has a crazy golf course, outside play area, outdoor and indoor pool (with a flume) and the Amusement area is the standard haven stuff.

You'll have a great time. Be warned though, pagham Beach is not a sandy beach, its a pebbly one.

Thanks for that, we are saving lots on the brochure price. Might upgrade but take our own linen - I'm averse to using theirs!

someone did say it was rubbish, which is just one view so its nice to hear so many nice things about it. We were staying among celebs last time we went to Haven - Johnny Vegas!! So lets go mingle with the stars! have a great holiday everyone!

Well everyone, I thought I'd update this thread!
We went for 3 nights for around a total cost £150 and had a fantastic time. It's a beautiful park in a gorgeous village and we had an amazing time. Allbeit we spent about £100 a day but we had budgeted that anyway. Because we were lucky enough to go away a few times this year, we set a limit on this one because we didn't know what to expect. I can imagine, even if it had been available as a last minute getaway, it would have been twice what we paid.

All in all, a fantastic time and a budget holiday at a wonderfully stunning park. Would definitely do 9.50 again but just be aware that you will pay more than £9.50 per person - they do say, after all, that its from that price.

Be prepared for your money saving venture, I think the sun is nearing the end of its current 9.50 promotion...
