I have a very basic phone and now I'm working a wee bit harder (cough), I thought I might get a smartphone or iPad or something so I don't think this is OT as it's good to hear what's good.0

A Galaxy S sounds fab..don't whatever you do get a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - I am on my second one in 6 months and this one is as much use as a brick..I cannot download free apps or apps of any kind and it won't connect to the internet to update the software..the battery has to be almost permanently on charge and has to be reset to factory settings every day.
I would love to do a phone shop MS though. I have done any mystery shopping for ages.0 -

At the risk of going off topic a bit, I am looking to get a new phone and am finding these MS phone shops very useful. I started off wanting either an iphone 4, HTS Desire or Galaxy S. The Galaxy is definitely out front for me now.
I've had a couple of the shops reccomend the windows phone on HTC. I have that in my sights for when I replace my phone next.0 -
I have a HTC Wildfire and love it, when I get MS phone shops they keep recommending it to me and I keep having to pretend I haven't a clue how to use it lol.
On the note of irony, did an MS yesterday and was not approached whilst browsing, in the comments box I explained that there were 5 other customers browsing, and the 2 members of staff available were stood behind the counter talking to each other about how bad their last MS score was :rotfl:0 -
I just got a new phone, looked at the Galaxy S but have never got on with Samsung phones in the past so went for the HTC Wildfire, slowly getting to grips with it - but can anyone recommend apps to make life easier ms wise, already downloaded a stopwatch, and a shopping list app that i've been using to make reminder notes on - but am guessing there are others I could make use of to make life easier for me.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Don't think I fancy MSing at a phone shop tbh, sounding interested for that long and then finally telling them I don't want what they've tried so hard to sell me seems mean :rotfl:0
