Nested quotes are a b*gger on this forum! I quoted mine, to save people having to scroll back to remember what I was on about.

The briefing states to order something online to be delivered to the store. This does not seem to fit into any of the options, you either order and pay for delivery to your own address, or reserve online and pay in store. There was no delivery to store option.

I reserved it, and have to go and pick up the item in a little while, but I'm still baffled as to whether I have done the right thing! I know I sound a bit dozy. Any ideas?

Was supposed to order and put the store's own address in the delivery box? That's just odd lol

LOL Ive done a few of these... it IS being "delivered" to store if its not instock in store it would be sent there... hope this helps.

Well, I reserved it, as it seemed to say in on the questionnaire notes. It said there were two in stock. Went to the store, and they didn't have it, even though their system said they have two.

Most confusing assignment ever, no wonder it was well paid!!

Just a quick one. I've done a few assignments today and I'm feeling a little rough, and I thought I might leave a couple to be written up tomorrow morning. I know different companies operate differently, and some state they must be completed within 8 or 12 hours or that day and some are a little more flexible eg 24 hrs, so I've looked at GFK and I've looked and maybe because I'm not feeling 100 per cent but I can't see how long I've got to complete my reports. I found it pretty quickly on others. Can anyone help?

GfK tend to want the results the same day.
All the ones I've done for them have made a point in the notes somewhere about it. The phone shop I did on Saturday for them said it was 'imperative' to have them the same day or they would not be able to use them! I'm sure someone really looked at them on the Sunday morning!!

Thanks! I'm doing them now. I usually do them straight away. Slow but sure, I'll get there.

Would appreciate some advice from shoppers who use the I-phone please.

What I am finding a pain, is that the stop watch does not record the start time, as a time. Therefore I can press the lap button, and get the seconds split between each timing point, but I still have to manually look at the clock at the start and remember the time.
The seconds are not even easy to read on the i-phone clock.

I have a 3GS, so it might be different on the 4.
Has anyone found a good solution to this? Or an app maybe that records the correct start time, and then lap/intermediate timing points?

I have my first burger job Thursday, and I think they are very hot on the seconds being corrrect!

Other than time in and out of the restaurant you don't need it to remember the exact time that you join the queue. You get the choice of entering the times as real clock times or split lap times, just select lap times.

In other news I posted this a couple pages back-

Voice Memos - I use this ALL the time. The headphones provided have a microphone on them, so I can hang them around my neck, start recording just outside the shop and then I've got an accurate record of the whole shop. Great for timings without the need to press buttons. I will point out at this point that the recordings are for personal use only and not passed to any third parties and as I'm part of the conversation there's no need to get permission from the other person involved.

A subtle cough when you reach the end of the queue and the rest of the timings are voice cues. Means you don't have to think about pressing the stop watch and lets face it, on the iPhone it's not easy to do this discreetly and accurately when you can't see the screen.
