For audits for company beginning with A where you just have to purchase all of a product with a certain thing wrong do you get reimbursed for what you buy? I said I'd do the job when told it was an urgent project for £x fee but now have received the details and have seen I have to purchase items but there's no reimbursement specified. I want to check there is one before I do it and end up potentially with either a lower fee or out of pocket.

You'll get the fee and reimbursed for all products purchased. No reimbursement is quoted as it depends how many need buying.

Felt like I was doing mine forever today - more depts I'm sure.

The fee used to be lower - that's gone up! You did used to have to purchase something petrolly, so that reimbursement has gone.

LOL Nope- I just know a few proof readers personally thats all, they are all office based.

I know that some PR are allowed to do assignements when working for other companies.

There is an office team and a 'home working team'. The team in the office do some of the proofreading and check all photos/receipts before releasing them to home workers, they also deal with any shopper communication for queries raised by the homeworkers.

(office team would be salaried whereas home workers are paid piece rate so they can deal with spikes & lulls in demand).

Yay, just got my first pizza with Gap. My word, I had another 3 perfect jobs in the basket, but after 2 minutes someone else had taken them. Oh well.

The reimbursement has def gone down by 50p. Just checked back to a visit i did in Nov. Nice to not have to go into the little shop though and buy some chocolate - always tempted me!

The fee has stayed the same though - my mistake, sorry. I did an audit for another MS company in the same shop and got their fees confused in my brain.

    Always has been.

I still do them. Always need petrol in my car and to be reimbursed anything for a 5-min report is ok in my book.

  • I've had quite a productive day - picked up 7 TNS slow supermarkets, a RE health shop, 3 Gap chicken and 2 Gap pizza. My diary is looking quite healthy for the next few weeks!
