I've done well out of GFK & the company who cannot be named so far this month but am struggling a bit for the rest of the month
GFK ain't showing jack apart from a bank that would take about 50 minutes, for the pay they are offering, no thanks!
Not seen any uploads on RE at all this week. Very strange.
Also, with the smartphones, if dear Ted and the freaks from ESA email at say 5 in the morning, does the phone vibrate/make noises? That would drive me bonkers!0 -

I picked up the maximum number of easy banks when they first went on and did a couple of fone shops (i'm looking for a new fone anyways) There is nothign left on there now that i'd be happy to do.
And you can chenge it to do what you want - my OH has a Sony Erikson X10 one and he has a diff profile for a night where it only lights up and doesn't vibrate or make a noise for e-mail and facebook messages.0 -
Oh no. Just done an assignment which should have taken 30 mins plus but only took 5 as MOS did not attempt a sale with me at all even though I gave massive buying signals. Oh dear, its going to be CCTV checked and I fear he may be on the way to losing his job,0

I guess REACT did lose the coffee contract in the end. I ain't seen any of those visits in like 2 months. Boohoo. Such a shame. I loved doing them.0

Did one of the trainee opticians exams yesterday. Felt really guilty because he failed. He totally ran out of time before he'd even sorted out the prescription.
He didn't have much chat either tho (no bedside manner)0 -

I've done two React coffees already this month.....assuming they've only ever had the one contract! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Oooh, that's good then. Anyone in West Yorkshire seen any coffee in the last 2 months? Maybe they have started doing them in county batches now instead of all over the UK at the same time.0 -

They are the Freelance outlets.
The actual main shops have gone:(0 -
I was also registered with Aba and I had heard nothing back So I sent an email asking what was going on, I received a reply along the lines of 'We are waiting for a vacancy to become available and then we will get you booked in for training.' So I asked what type of training (as on the other MS sites all you do is answer some bog standard questions) And I Recieved this back;
Hi Ryan
Yes, we only use small teams of shoppers on our accounts (e.g. only 55 shoppers work on our post office account, which covers 1000 visits per month – they cover whole territories of the country, and rotate into different territories month on month to keep faces fresh.)
Our commitment to the clients we work with is that we will meet every assessor we use on their account at the recruitment/basic training day, then carry out accompanied visits with them for the first 3 months, and appoint a ‘buddy’ to work with them in terms of supporting them as necessary. We then hold mystery shopper work shops and training days at regular intervals throughout the year, to update the teams on new guidelines and scenarios. It basically involves role play and recall ability sessions and general updates etc.
We don’t work like the other ms companies in UK and generally find that companies that choose to go with us bonus their front line teams heavily on the basis of the results we provide – so it is crucial that we ensure that every single visit is carried out and scored in the same way. Otherwise league tables aren’t credible.
Hope that makes some semblance of sense
Is this what you all had to do? :eek:0
