Could someone help me with what is probably a really stupid question please?

If you're talking about a case of items in a supermarket i.e. a box of 12 items, would that be classed as 1 unit or 12 units?

It depends. Is it sold to the customer as a multipack ie 12 cans of pop, or is the 12 pack just an outer and the cans are sold singularly?

Then it's 12 units, as the product is a single can and there are 12 of them available.

It would only be 1 unit if the product was the box of cans (cannot buy just the one or two), as then only one person could buy.
  • Thinking about it if they're asking how many cases they mean outers so it'll be one?

If they're asking how many cases they'll mean how many cases/boxes. If theyre asking how many units they'll mean how many cans.

For audits for company beginning with A where you just have to purchase all of a product with a certain thing wrong do you get reimbursed for what you buy? I said I'd do the job when told it was an urgent project for £x fee but now have received the details and have seen I have to purchase items but there's no reimbursement specified. I want to check there is one before I do it and end up potentially with either a lower fee or out of pocket.

Did a slow supermarket today for TNS. Didnt realise that I neednt have gone to the petrol dept and make a purchase!! Also has the fee for it dropped 50p or am I imagining it?

Felt like I was doing mine forever today - more depts I'm sure.

You did used to have to purchase something petrolly, so that 50p reimbursement has gone.
