  • I was considering it as I am finding it difficult to find enough work these days. So far every month this year has been much quieter than the same months last year. I might have to look into other options though as if the pay is anything like RE jobs then I doubt its worth it!

You can see what they pay their editors on the same page-obviously they will pay their proof readers less than that -on the other hand it's a job you can do from home without any expenses like fares/parking and once you are settled into it can probably do it pretty quickly.

My main job is an hourly paid work at home job and although the basic pay is poor for what I do -it makes a big difference not having to pay parking/lunches/coffee/work clothes etc. Plus the moment I stop work -I can be back to doing what I want to do in moments instead of having to travel home, dinner can be put on in my teabreak ready to serve up as soon as I finish etc. I think I'd really resent having to "pay" to go to work again now.

  • Anyone's magic accounts showing whether RE or GR will be paid tomorrow?

The first page says twice monthly and my pay history confirms this.

As far as I'm aware, GR payments aren't due tomorrow?

I have outstanding payments and am not expecting them until around 21st April

All my GFK history says that payments are made on 10th and 25th of every month.

I'd love to be able to work from home again.

I did it a couple of year's ago with arise but that didn't work out.
