Seriously I wouldnt blame Lizzie if she never returned after the welcome she got.

Not to be rude, but are you someone's sock puppet? A cursory glance at your posting history suggests you've not posted in an ms related thread for at least the last couple of years.

I only ask because when someone steps in and posts multiple defences of someone else on a forum who have never been in that subforum before I get suspicious about who they are and what their motives are...
  • I recall a woman coming on from a company (although she wouldn't reveal who) and ended up leaving because of the comments as she felt it wasn't worth it.

I remember being unpleasant to someone from some offshoot of Secret Shopping because I felt they were trying to pull the wool over our eyes and looked like they were acting as an intermediary. Is that the one you were thinking of or has there been someone else.

Hang on, let's not get personal here. Carolwat is a very experienced shopper who usually posts elsewhere but has (and is) been a great help to a lot of people. Let's play nicely, people. Please.

I can vouch for Carolwat. She's been doing MS for a long time. I've met her in "real life" and she's a lovely lady.

I don't think so. She came on but wouldn't reveal the company she worked for and i think people got heated because they wanted an honest answer (which i was also curious about) but she did get a bit of a backlash and was very pleasent when i pm'ed her and said she wasn't going to bother based on the responce.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

    Same here, she's awesome!

March has been a little quiet for me MSing wise. Hoping April will pick up a little. I signed up to a few new companies this month. Hoping to try and get a little more merchandising/auditty work. My annual leave year at work resets in April so I'll actually be able to take some time off work to do some other work!

How is everyone else holding up?

Can't say I'd blame any reps who thought that (even though having them can help, thinking where a Gap rep on Mysteryshoppersuk really solved a couple of issues.......

And a thread where a Retail Eyes rep asked for shoppers opinions on the company...... that was fun to read :D

Ooh dear, I think a RE rep would have to be quite brave to come on this forum and face us lot!!

And how do they get your £10 if it doesn't come out of your bank account? Do you send them a cheque or cash?

Now you are just being silly. Clearly it comes out of your bank if thats how you chose to pay but you implied they just randomly took money from your account for it just by signing up with them.

Do you know what, I simply cannot be bothered with this place. You call yourselves professionals and moan when other professional shoppers talk about this thread in a negative manner but its all brought on by yourselves and the way you treat people and companies. I dop in now and again as I think things may have changed but time and time again I see the same old nastiness, unwelcomeness and complete and utter stupidity from people asking questions when a quick search would provide the answers of people werent so damn lazy and just wanting to earn a quick quid.
