I agree that having Max on the forum is really helpful. I love that Helion don't take money out of our bank accounts to pass their certification tests too. ;)

Agreed that having reps on the thread is helpful, my view would probably be that on THIS thread any postings should either be re-active when people post a query not understanding something on a Helion / MSL assignment, or of course posting available jobs on the alerts thread.

As long as they stay away from posts that suggest that they are better than other MS companies I don't see why people can complain!

Im sure Lizzie would never comment on another company on a public forum. Anyway us shoppers who work for them can freely say they are one of the better companies to work for and I for one am fine with people not wanting to register with them and work for them as it means theres more work for me and the other shoppers I know :) If people cannot see past the OPTIONAL test then its their loss. It doesnt cost much for a quick call to check how necessary it really is. I have never done it nor do I have any intention of ever doing it. I like to think MSL use me because of the quality of my work, I get plenty from them and imagine I will keep on getting plenty even after the end of 2011 preferring tested shoppers thing because I will have proven myself with them already. Its not a demand and they certainly dont just take money from anyones bank account. Seriously I wouldnt blame Lizzie if she never returned after the welcome she got.

I'm sure neither Max or Lizzie would/have done so, meant more that only if a rep were to do so would I understand why people would object.

Even though I've never done anything for MSL I'd welcome all reps!

I wish more reps would come on the boards and hear the opinons of others. I know GAP had a rep on the board who used to sort out peoples issues etc. It was really handy.

And I agree Carol maybe im just greedy but more work for me sounds good :)

Out of interest how do MSL work? I registered with them quite a while ago, but had forgotten as I never heard anything from them.

And how do they get your £10 if it doesn't come out of your bank account? Do you send them a cheque or cash?

The website says Credit Card or Paypal, and....

"The certificate is valid for 2 years. This is partly because both MSPA and MRS change their codes of conduct from time to time, partly to remind all certificate holders of the key points of the codes and partly to ensure the contact details of certificate holders are up to date. There is no current plan to charge for the refresher but we reserve the right to do so if circumstances change"
