Hmmm just noticing your first post..... Why are you using 5th gear at sub 50mph?
Have you tried not labouring the engine? You might find the problem isn't as bad as it seems.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Is it ok in other gears or does it feel sluggish all the time? Can you rev it when standing still and does it rev ok up to 4/5000?
Its a tricky one but the more info you give to a garage/mechanic the quicker they can spot it. From your description it could be anything.
Have you had it serviced as previous posts asked?
Take it to a local nissan independent specialist. They wont need to send u off to an auto electrician. My experience of the latter has been terrible in fault finding.0 -

i would agree and it was probably your original problem anyway as they dont throw a code
your garage selling you parts sounds like the kind of place where they normally have all the boys toys but are somewhat lacking in basic sense0
