someone posted that they used the code and got emailed to say it wasnt theres to use and they took full payment. bit worried as i paid a bit with my card. wont be amused as i would prefer it cancelled than charged

but as this was on a mail shot how would they now? i think ther person already had an account where as this codes for new customers, also as far as i know they can't acually take the full amount without your consent, if they do i'll just be canceling mine

i'd be careful fellow money savers. if you are going to use the £10 off code (and are not a member), then i would place an order for £10 or less. that way, they do not have your card details and cannot charge you in the future on your card.

got a feeling these will get cancelled. but you won't know 'til you try!

A few little girls skirts on there for £10 :)

I got this email I hope they do only charge me £1

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Providing the gift vouchers are valid, your credit card will be charged £1.00 when the items are despatched. Could you please retain your redeemed gift vouchers until receiving your goods.
For delivery please allow 3-5 working days.

I will just send it back for a refund if they charge me full price !

i used express checkout,my order came to £9 and i had order comfirmation straight away, didnt pay anything and gave no card details so all they have is my name and address.
My sisters have also placed orders paying £0 and they have all had order comfirmations as well

what does it state in the confirmation email? does it say total payment due £0 or £10? also, has it registered the £10 voucher? thanks

  • I can't get the code to work, it just says it is an invalid or expired code, anyone else having this problem?

I got sent the letter with a gift voucher for £10,
the codes are unique and can only be used by the recipient.
When I checked out, there was a message saying that they would check the gift voucher code before dispatching the order and if it was not valid I would be charged full amount.

I hope you get your orders, but I have a feeling they will be cancelled or charged full price... sorry guys :o

    A poster on HDUK

"I used this code on Monday then got an email today saying I was not entitled to it so they were taking the full amount from my card. Be careful."

    :(

Anyone know how easy it is to return an item to Boden.

i am confused as to how they can charge you the full amount when they havent been authorised too lol i hope they cancel it instead.

  • It's free returns even if they do charge your cards more so you should be ok.

Everything seems really expensive on there to me, I have kept mine below £10 just incase, I dont mind if it gets cancelled.
