Anyone else got this MMS iPhone 4 problem?

Hi guys,
I seem to be going round and round in circles with o2...
It all started in November last year.
I got my iPhone 4 and thought it worked fine until I tried to send a pic message. When I tried to send one the status bar gets to about 95% then hangs and then stops and it fails.
I called o2 Customer services and they sent a new handset out = same problem.
I'm now on my 5th handset and it still happens. I've tested my SIM in one of my friends iPhone 4 and it works fine, it's as though they keep sending me the phones from the same batch or something.
I've gone through loads of settings changes with them over the phone each time and still no joy.
Apparently it's an Apple problem but I'm not so sure - has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks

I have the exact same problem. I just assumed it was a setting on the phone. I'll sit down with it now and have a look. i'm with 02 PAYG.0

What is the size of the file that you are sending? MMS is usually limited to 300kb, some handsets will reduce picture sizes to fit into a mms format, or there could be a temporary network outage affecting 3g, try sending the message on 2g.0

It varies. I've been through all sorts of settings with o2 over the phone changing message image size etc. The 3G and 2G changes have also been done.

What's your MMS max file size set as?

Saying that, I have been having issues with O2's service for a month. 99% of the time I have had NO service at home, including 2G. They put it down to 1/ masts being replaced, 2/ my mobile, 3/ my sim, 4/ black spot, then expect me to choose one of those 4 to which better suits my phone. But it is O2 afterall, and they don't really want to know when you speak with them.
If you have changed your hanset a number of times, logically it cannot be the handset. If you have tried to send the images in lower resolution, surely it cannot be that either. So my guess would be O2.0 -
Apparently there's a new software update being released for the iphones in the next few days that should sort my problem out.
This was someone in an o2 store - anyone else heard this?

I have the same prob and o2 are aware of it, they said I should go to settings >network>mobile data>scroll down to mms message size and reduce it to 500000. sometimes this works and like you the message will get to about 95% then fail, if I try it again it may well go, or it goes twice. They are waiting for some sort of update at the end of the month, but theysaid that last month too.0

I had this too. Do you use 3G on your phone? Or have it turned off?
I had the exact same problem, but I always have 3G turned off because I never use it. MMS wouldn't send, did a little looking around, changed the max mms size and switched 3G on when I want to send an mms, hey presto, no more problem.

Think it was someone called Steve Jobs who mentioned it.
It's out today, iTunes should find it an offer to install it for you when you connect next0
