I'm going to make a guess that I am the only male posting in this thread, but i don't care. I like the idea. I have no idea what I usually spend a month, but im going to budget £60. I live alone so I think this is realistic. I have spent £23.62 so far as I stocked up a little last night and I expect this to last a couple of weeks. I hope I have posted this correctly. Thanks :)

    Hi & Welcome stuckdebt :hello:

And you're not the only male on here - NickJW and de1amo are also blokes :)

Morning & Good Luck to all other Newcomers too
This is addictive.......you have been warned ;)

Hoping for a NSD here, but I may have to pop out and get some eggs as I've had mine a while now. Will see what they smell and look like when I crack them, although, they're not floating, so they should be ok.

    Have a frugal day everyone

Now off to do big monthly shop - its a shame I have to do it on first of month but I cannot stretch the basics any longer, freezer is OK but store cupboard & fridge are sadly lacking in food. But I have my list & am aiming for no more than £100 from my £185 budget just leaving veg, milk, bread etc for the rest of the month. I will report back later on my success (hopefully)

So worked out my meal plan for the week, as freezer is fit to bursting as I keep buying "bargains" so have set myself a challenge to try and empty it this month and will also give me a chance to defrost it as haven't done that for a year (oops). Went to the shops before work got all fresh fruit and the minimal to go with the meal plan and hopefully that should be my first week done:T

My budget as usual will be £120.00 for the month.I am hoping to be able to cut that in half this month as my freezer is stuffed full of goodies that not only was mine but a friend donated to me as she was going to bin her bits to defrost her freezer i offered to store the bits for her but lovely lady as she is she has more money than sense bless her said if you don't take it I shall bin it.Who am I to argue for free food .So although I am setting my target at 3120 I am hoping I will be able to save at least half of that.I am going on my spring holiday in the first week of April so what I save will be extra spending mony for my hols .

Can I please be put down for £220.00 for March please? It is my eldests birthday so I am increasing my budget to account for this (this is a bit of a porky - my budget last month was £150 and I'm darned sure that I'm not spending £70 on party food for a few friends and family!! However I did go spectacularly over last month and I don't want to go over again!!!)
