  • As things stand at the moment the driver who was in the other car has violated Mrs.OP`s Human Rights and stands to be sued for causing her stress and injuries(whiplash etc).
As a result Mrs.OP will appear in the NOTW with Jordan and receive an undisclosed sum for her Exclusive Story!

The rest of us will pay increased premiums for the audacity to have a legal right to drive:beer:

i just cant believe how calm the OP appears about this? to me it's reading like "well, she took the car out and had a bump, that's all i want advice about, not to do with the fact she has no licence, and the insurance is void because of it..."

I dont wanna judge, but it appears to me like OP was aware his wife was doing this? and this isnt the first time it's happened? i hope im wrong!

Can I ask why she felt she needed to drive illegally? Was it a regular occurrence?

Judging by the O/Ps attitude i'd say it was a very regular occurence.

No remorse, no disbelief that his wife had been so foolish, no sympathy for the other driver - in fact basically came on here querying whether the other driver had any rights!!!!

    Ridiculous.

This is one of my real 'hang up's' driving with no insurance.
It always occurs to me, that it may result in the death of a 'breadwinner' resulting in the destruction of a family, and the poverty, and loss of home etc that may result. Penalties need to be much harsher.

Can you believe, that the OP is prepared to admit he's willing to attempt to pervert the course of justice to reduce the effects on himself and his Wife?
Should driving tests include a phsychological assesment too?

Yes. It doesn't need your consent to prosecute for TWOC, even less so now its on record that you said you didn't give her permission to drive it. And as already stated, its aggravated TWOC. In short, in order to save you having 6 points on your licence, you've probably landed your missus with a proper criminal conviction of the type theiving scrotes from slum estates get which I can guarantee means absolutely no chance of a job in the civil service or NHS or similar for the next several years.

At this point, I think you should turn off that JCB and stop digging the hole you've started as at this rate, you'll soon be through to Australia. One or both of you is going to end up with points and/or criminal record and unaffordable insurance for the next few years.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Where have you been for the last 6 months. Camerons cut saw to that long before she twoc'd the car.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

6 months! Try 6 years and you would be closer to the mark.
As much as I dislike Cameron & Clegg, I don't think the state of the UK legal system can be dropped at their feet.
It was labour who brought in ASBO's and who ensured that probably 90% of criminals get a simple slap on the wrist, a caution or a conditional discharge.

Well it was the last government that gave the police more powers to deal with uninsured cars and anti social use of vehicles. Also anti social behaviour existed before the labour government the police had a little power do anything about it.
